AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

ALL ANGELS WORSHIP HIM
Greetings dear and precious children of the Most High God, the only living God. We are a most blessed people ever and redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus. There has never been a people like the Church, body of Christ, nor will there ever be again in the ages to come. Welcome back to this engaging and empowering study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth beyond that of Eastern Gate Ministries International alone. Thank you for taking a moment to share precious brother and sister. We are in an unusual time in history, at least in our memories, as I write this on the 18th of January. Some 25,000 national guard troops are being deployed to Washington DC to secure the seat of our government and the Presidential inaugural site. I don’t recall any time when this has happened for any reason.
Many demonic strategies are at work in our nation to tear it apart, all allowed and even empowered by the Church at large. Many think it is all the work of the big mean devil over whom we have no control nor understanding of his wiles, or that God is working something out beyond our understanding. It is indeed the big mean devil who is at work, for the most part unhindered by the body of Christ. Dear children, we the redeemed have complete control, authority (dominion) over the earth and him. Why do we war against flesh and blood when we cannot win that battle without first winning the spiritual battle then taking our place as the kings of the earth? These strategies of darkness may seem to be working for the moment but in the end, darkness never triumphs over light. A light is arising dear ones and we stand at the dawn of a great ingathering of souls and a day of the glory of God that will eclipse the first century. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud. How does faith come?
John 20:17-19 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
Jesus has just emerged from the tomb (sepulcher) and is about to take His precious Blood to the Mercy Seat of Heaven. We have just witnessed to a very purposeful encounter with Mary Magdalene and soon the risen Savior will be present with some of the disciples who are in hiding. At this point this seems like an unlikely group to turn the world upside down. However, they did turn the world upside down, what a wonderful testimony to the transforming power of the Holy Spirit. Now let’s shift gears a little and return to our study of Jesus being restored fully as God, again a Son. He was not a Son before the womb of Mary. At His laying aside of those attributes that made Him fully God and entering the womb of Mary He was for the first time a Son begotten of the Father.

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Hebrews 10:5 (KJV)
5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
Now let’s turn our attention to our secondary text in Hebrews.
Hebrews 1:5-8 (KJV)
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
Jesus was the first begotten into the world, raised from the physical dead and spiritual dead, then each of us in our order.
Revelation 1:5 (KJV)
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
Romans 8:29 (KJV)
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
