AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH
Monday – February 15, 2021, Adar 3, 5781
THE FIRST BEGOTTEN
Greetings precious children of the Most High God, the only living God. We are a most blessed people ever and redeemed by the precious Blood of Jesus. There has never been a people like the Church, body of Christ, nor will there ever be again in ages to come. Welcome back to this engaging and empowering study of the Book of John. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth beyond that of Eastern Gate Ministries International alone. Thank you for taking a moment to share precious brother and sister. We are in an unusual time in history, at least in our memories, as I write this on the 18th of January. Some 25,000 national guard troop are being deployed to Washington DC to secure the seat of our government and the Presidential inaugural site. I don’t recall anytime when this has happened for any reason. Many demonic strategies are at work in our nation to tear it apart, all allowed and even empowered by the Church at large. These strategies may seem to be working for the moment but in the end, darkness never triumphs over light. A light is arising dear ones and we stand at the dawn of a great ingathering of souls and a day of the glory of God that will eclipse the first century. Now let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud. How does faith come?
John 20:17-19 (KJV)
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
I have been talking about those wonderful moments following the Resurrection of Christ and the encounter between Mary Magdalene and the Risen Savior. Can you imagine being there? Would we be able take it all in? Jesus is restored as fully God and He is also fully man with an incorruptible body of flesh and bone. Jesus is on His way to the Father, the Mercy Seat of Heaven, for the first time since the Crucifixion with His precious Blood which will speak of our redemption for eternity. His precious Blood purchased our salvation, making it possible for all who choose to have right standing (righteousness) with the Father. Now, let’s turn to the Book of Hebrews to drink in at least some of the Words the Father spoke in the restoration of the Word.
Hebrews 1:5-8 (KJV)
5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
When we left off last Thursday, I pointed out to us all the use of the phrase “And again” in the fifth verse above. The first time Jesus was begotten, or born of the Father, was in the womb of the virgin Mary, and now the second time is His birth from spiritual and physical death. The penalty of Adam’s sin and all the sin of mankind is paid. Full restoration and more for mankind is now fully available. Jesus was made sin in our stead.
2 Corinthians 5:21 (KJV)
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
O the great exchange, our sin for His righteousness! Just as sin brought spiritual death to Adam so it did to Jesus and we heard Him cry out in anguish at that moment.
Mark 15:34 (KJV)
34 And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
The nineth hour is three in the afternoon, within moments we will see Him surrender his soul into the Hand of the Father (Holy Spirit).
Luke 23:46 (KJV)
46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.
Even in this moment of impending physical death when He would give up the ghost, having already experienced spiritual death (separation from the Father) He had full confidence in the Father. For by the Blood of the Lamb, His very own blood, and the Word of His testimony He would be soon be raised back to life.

2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
