O LUCIFER YOU ARE FALLEN FROM HEAVEN

Greetings precious friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. We are always ready to receive partners. A partner is one who come along side financially. I will say the same to you as the Apostle Paul said to those who were to partner with him.
Philippians 4:17 (KJV)
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
Giving is commanded of God, first the tithe (10% of all gain) and then what is commonly referred to as “freewill offerings”. It is vital that you not give by coercion or any kind of pressure but only as the Lord leads.
As we continue moving forward, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing, you have a vital role in this Ministry. The featured picture today is of what is commonly referred to as “The Cross” in Kerrville Texas, more accurately this sculpture (Jesus the coming King) and huge empty cross is in “The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Gardens”, in Kerrville Texas. It is a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. It is presented today as a reminder for us to pray (intercede) for the body of Christ (Church), for unbelievers, and those in authority.
Now let’s move on to our text in Isaiah which is very fascinating but also very revealing concerning the one we call Satan, the Devil, the Old Dragon, the Serpent, and so on. Studying the fall of Lucifer is not only revealing but empowering. It is revealing about our fallen nature (flesh, carnality). Those things we don’t like in our nature, that we must crucify (sometimes daily), came from our old father, the Devil. Remember to continue reading out loud, you are reading out loud, right?
Isaiah 14:12-15 (TLB)
12 How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground—mighty though you were against the nations of the world.
13 For you said to yourself, “I will ascend to heaven and rule the angels. I will take the highest throne. I will preside on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north.
14 I will climb to the highest heavens and be like the Most High.”
15 But instead, you will be brought down to the pit of hell, down to its lowest depths.
I have presented this in The Living Bible translation for the King James Version can be rather challenging especially in the apocalyptic, prophetic Books of the Bible. In order to get the full insight of this and following passages we will be looking back at verses earlier in the chapter for greater insights. We are clearing told that we are learning about the fall of Lucifer who was likely an archangel and perhaps the music director of Heaven since musical instruments were part of his created body. Our text tells us that Lucifer not only wanted to rule the angels in Heaven but he wanted his throne to be higher than that of Almighty God. Look at this in the Amplified Translation.
Isaiah 14:13-14 (AMP)
13 And you said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will sit upon the mount of assembly in the uttermost north.
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.
Lucifer became self-deceived. The Apostle James talks about self-deception concerning ourselves, professed followers of Christ.
James 1:21-23 (KJV)
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
It appears that deception (sin) lies at the door of those who are hearers but not doers. Wow! Let’s think on this for a moment, perhaps even many moments. When we hear the commands of God but do not do them, we are entering into deception. Perhaps we think that somehow this does not apply to us. Let’s couple what we have read in James with the following familiar Scripture.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Have we entered into the deception of our enemies that this command somehow does not apply to us when it clearly does?
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. In the meantime, let us nurse our toes back to health.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Receive the blessing in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (MSG)
24 GOD bless you and keep you,
25 GOD smile on you and gift you,
26 GOD look you full in the face and make you prosper.
