AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

IN THE MIDST OF THE LAND
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful Bible Study of the Book of Isaiah. Before I move into our primary Bible text for today in the Book of Isaiah, I want to briefly discuss something I see Christians involved with on the internet and that is “What is your spirit animal?” This is not harmless fun dear ones, this is witchcraft, and you are playing on the devil’s field. First, we are not animals and we do not have an animal’s spirit within us. We are in the image and likeness of God and He has breathed His very own Spirit within us right from the beginning. Playing this devilish game is no different than using Ouija cards or some other ungodly way of divination or determining the future or an unknown (to us) thing. This game of determining one’s spirit animal is devilish, an abomination to God, and is associated with the practice of WICCA which is witchcraft. Please read the following passage with a humble heart.
Galatians 5:19-21 (KJV)
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text for today continuing to read out loud. Yes, out loud, and you know why.
Isaiah 24:11-15 (KJV)
11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
12 In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
13 When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Just like our natural judicial system, the rendering of justice does not preclude the person from again choosing to break the law and have yet another judgment rendered. So, it is in God’s judicial system. Where do you think the idea for our system came from? Thus, down through the Old Testament and to this day we see nations, and individuals enter into sin, be judged, and then when restored once again choose other gods. Lest we forget, let me remind us all that God’s judgment always starts with His own people not the heathen. That is not to say that God is happy with the heathen, He certainly is not, and He is simultaneously angry and grieved by His own people and the heathen. It is not the will of God that any perish, whether it be His people who themselves choose to open the door to the thief’s stealing, killing, and destroying or the heathen choosing Hell over Heaven.
In our primary text we see more consequences of sin in verses eleven and twelve. Now, as we plunge into verse thirteen and following, we see that God has a people, a remnant, a rising remnant. This has happened time and again down through time and is happening again today. The “olive tree” in Scripture is Israel. You and I beautiful saints of God have been grafted into the Olive Tree; we are the adopted sons of God. You see, God has always had a people, and He has a people today. Are you, am I, a part of that Anointed rising remnant through which the end time harvest will come? We are about to enter a time of unprecedented harvest with signs and wonders confirming His Word that will make the Book of Acts look like pee wee league.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. We love you and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
