Greetings dear friend and brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, the Lord is so good dear ones. Welcome back to this engaging study of the Bible Book of Isaiah. Today I am moving further into the 47th chapter of Isaiah using the NIV version of Scripture. Please take a moment to share this teaching as widely as possible by every means available to you. Thank you for sharing. If you are not sharing ask yourself and ask the Lord, why not. Now, let’s move ahead into our Bible Study of the wonderful Book of Isaiah continuing to read out loud.
Isaiah 47:3-7 (NIV)
3 Your nakedness will be exposed and your shame uncovered. I will take vengeance; I will spare no one.”
4 Our Redeemer–the LORD Almighty is his name– is the Holy One of Israel.
5 “Sit in silence, go into darkness, Daughter of the Babylonians; no more will you be called queen of kingdoms.
6 I was angry with my people and desecrated my inheritance; I gave them into your hand, and you showed them no mercy. Even on the aged you laid a very heavy yoke.
7 You said, ‘I will continue forever– the eternal queen!’ But you did not consider these things or reflect on what might happen.
We hear over and over that every hidden thing will be revealed whether it be good or bad. The good is fine but why do we continue to somehow think that our bad things are hidden? It is the deceptions of the enemy. So long as we walk in sin, failing to repent, the door to the enemy remains open. Dear ones let us all repent of any hidden or not so hidden things. Having the door open to the devils and having the door open for God are two quite different things.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
So, do we want stealing, killing, and destroying in our lives or do we want abundance? How valuable, how precious is evil, sin in our lives compared with righteousness? Repent now!
1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
True repentance brings true forgiveness and the elimination of all unrighteousness and then and only then can the Lord’s abundance flow in our lives. Quit spiritualizing all references to abundance, wealth, and gain putting it in the sweet bye and bye! We have the blessing of Abraham which is a physical earthly blessing and we have the Spirit Who gives us eternal life and all other spiritual gifts. We have it all dear ones, we can live in the seventh day once again.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
