GO INTO ALL THE WORLD
Monday – July 10, 2017

Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ. God is so good. Patti and I welcome you back to our Bible Study from the Book of Hebrews. We know that you will be blessed, empowered of God as you walk in His will, as you devour this and make it every bit yours. Let’s again review our primary text and delve into our study.
Hebrews 2:4 (KJV)
4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
Remember the Scripture here is speaking about the prophets, the Son, and even angels. When they spoke the Word of God their words (His Words in their mouth) were confirmed by God with signs and wonders, various miracles, and functional observable gifts of the Holy Spirit. The focus to some extent in the second chapter of Hebrews is shifting to those of us in Christ Jesus. It is important for us to understand that in Him we are to function as He functioned in the earth. Adams authority was limited to the earth however since Calvary we have authority in Heaven and earth, and we have legal authority to do the greater things. If the Father confirmed the Words of Jesus, He will confirm His Words in our mouth as well. We have been born into such a wonderful situation, why do we not hear that commonly. We find lots of teaching and songs focused on going to Heaven but there are not Scriptures telling us that is to be our focus. Our focus is to bring the Kingdom of God to a lost world. Heaven and all of its wonder is a foregone conclusion for the believer. Now let’s take a look at our secondary text out of Mark.
Mark 16:15-20 (KJV)
15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
As we review our secondary text we see that Jesus starts right off telling His followers, believers, to go into all the world. He did not say hang on for dear life and sing and talk about Heaven until you die or I come. Now, I am not belittling that we have a wonderful home in Heaven however we are sent to do the work of God in the earth. When our job here is done, when we have run our race and we are satisfied then and only then are we to turn our attention toward Heaven. Think about this in the natural. If we have a job and all we do all day is whine to our boss that we want to go home how do you think that will work? Just before Jesus went to the Cross, just before going to the Garden of Gethsemane where He allowed Himself to be taken, Jesus prayed the following in front of the disciples to the Father.
John 17:15-18 (KJV)
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
We are to go into all the world but we are not to join with the world, we are to take ground for the Kingdom of God. Every time a person is born again the Kingdom of God is enlarged. Heaven is enlarged, one more mansion and who knows what else, the Kingdom of God in the earth is enlarged by that person spiritually and physically. All that person influences, owns, and controls now moves in concert with the Kingdom of God, the purposes of the Kingdom.
As we continue our review of the secondary text from Mark we find that when we believe and plunge fully into the Kingdom of God, committed to the Lord Jesus we are saved, we are now in Him and our present and our future is without limit. God does not send us to Heaven or Hell, whichever one we hook our caboose to is our choice. Finally, in our review we are told: “these signs shall follow them that believe”. So, what do we think about the “shall” which we find in the midst of this sentence? As we look at the structure of this command we find that the qualifying indicator is a person who believes. Believes what? We must believe that it is the will of God and that we have the authority and Power to do the works of Jesus and the greater works! If this is not present in our lives then what can we conclude? I will pick up here tomorrow and we will dive into new material.
Until our next publication, I speak blessing into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving.
Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
