HONORING ISRAEL

Please be reminded of the Lords command to pray for the Jews, for Jerusalem, and for Israel. These are God’s first blood covenant peoples using innocent animals until Messiah could come. The Jews have access to the New Blood Covenant ratified by the Blood of Messiah just as we Gentiles. However, for the most part they have rejected the Messiah (Jesus). They have hardened their hearts and stiffened their necks much as we saw with Pharaoh in old Egypt. However, a day of repentance for Israel is at hand (Zechariah 12). Our featured picture is of the Eastern Gate in old Jerusalem.
Romans 11:25-27 (KJV)
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. (Bold added by Dr. Wood)
