HEALTH, HEALING, AND MIRACLES – PART SEVEN
Sunday – April 22, 2018 – Iyar 7, 5778

Welcome back to this wonderful faith building study concerning health, healing, and miracles. I hope that your faith is soaring and your doubts are disappearing. We have a Blood Covenant of health, healing and miracles not just for our lives but we are to bring them into the lives of others. Jesus commanded that we get about the Father’s business doing the things He did and greater things.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Perhaps you said “amen” however what is holding you, holding me back? The simple answer is that we are not doing according to the Holy Scriptures. We are not exercising our authority. When we declare the will of God into the earth in faith, without doubt, believing that we have received what we declared, we shall have what we declared. The Power of God will cause it to be so. You can pray to God until you die for these things and they will not occur because that is not how they are procured. We have the authority and He has the Power. Concerning the maintaining of our health until our assignments from God are done and we are satisfied let’s review the following Scripture. Please read it aloud for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.
Proverbs 4:20-27 (KJV)
20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
24 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
25 Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.
26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
27 Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.
Are you a son (or daughter) of God, if you are this is for you? We are commanded to attend (prick up our ears, both physical and spiritual) to the Words of God. We are commanded to not allow them to leave our eyes, keeping these Word in the midst of our heart (thinking). Everything we see or hear is seen and heard through the filter of the Word of God. In general, we think in images, our thoughts take the form of images in our mind, and in our brain. It is not practical and would be downright dangerous to have the Bible in front of our faces day and night however we can maintain those images in our minds eye day and night. Keeping the Words of God in the midst of our heart is not a casual or unintentional process. The word “keep” in verse twenty-one means to hedge about (as with thorns), to guard; to protect, attend to, be circumspect, take heed, look narrowly, observe, and preserve according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.
As we turn our attention to verse twenty-two be aware that the word “life” is a part of the name of God ‘hay’ and is in the plural so is talking about God given life to both spirit and body. The word translated as “health” can also be translated as ‘medicine’. Think about it, the Word of God is medicine or brings health to both the soul (spirit man) and the physical body. The more you speak the Word of God with this knowledge and actually believe what you say, refuse to doubt, believe you have received what you have spoken, you shall have what you say. In verse twenty-three we find the command to keep our heart which is to exercise control over our thought life. We are to keep our heart with diligence meaning to guard, to hedge about. We are to guard and hedge about the Word of God in our heart, not the thoughts of doubt or the “what if’s”, the “yeah buts”, or the “do you really believe that, just look around you” thoughts. As we continue we are told that life (also pleural) emanates from our heart (out of our thought life). Life emanates when we have done verses twenty-one, twenty-two, and the first half of twenty-three. If life can emanate so can sickness, disease, and death if that is what we believe. As a man thinks so is he.
Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)
7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
Matthew 12:35 (KJV)
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
Which one does my life demonstrate and which one does your life demonstrate. When Jesus says we are bringing forth something out of our thought life he is not talking about inoperative words but words that shape our lives and destiny. Whatever we truly believe is the spiritual and physical circumstances of our lives. In the Matthew text the “evil man” is not necessarily an unsaved person. Moving back to our text in Proverbs we are commanded not to have a false mouth, a perverse mouth, which is a mouth that says stuff different than the Holy Word, different from our Covenant of abundance. We are to proceed straight ahead not looking to the left or right which are the distractions of the enemy. We are to always be considering our path, what we are thinking, what we are saying, and what we are doing. When we discover our foot (thoughts, words, or ways) to be in evil territory we are to remove it immediately in sincere repentance, effecting an immediate 180-degree change of thought, words, and actions. Next Sunday Lord willing I will move directly into the healing and miracle ministry of Jesus which we are to duplicate and do even greater things.
Until our next publication, I speak blessing into your life right now, receive it in the name of Jesus, confess it, and walk it out with thanksgiving. Also, prayerfully consider partnership with this ministry.
Numbers 6:24-26 (KJV)
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
