HEALTH and HEALING – PART FOUR

Greetings precious saints of God and those who have not yet abandoned darkness and come into the Light. Welcome back to our Sunday Bible Study. Today I will continue dealing with the importance of our thought life for every area or sphere of life here and there. The featured picture is of a human brain which is part of the material realm, the natural world, the three-dimensional world. The blue lines represent the interaction of our physical brain with our mind which is a part of the immaterial realm, spirit world, the fourth dimension. Our mind is a part of our spirit man, specifically a part of the soul along with our will, and emotions. Be sure you are reading out loud and listen to our anchor Scripture for this teaching.

3 John 1:2 (NASB)

2 Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

This letter is written by the Apostle John, the Apostle of love, to the Church. However, this is spiritual law and works for everyone. For the Christian walking in faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit this law can operate on a much higher level, we chose. Does the following verse describe you or me?

Joshua 1:8 (NASB)

8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.

Hopefully, you can see clearly not only from 3 John 2 and Joshua 1:8 that our way being prosperous and our success in this life is totally up to us. God has provided all that is needed but we must appropriate His Word into our life, our whole lifestyle. All that is needed is His Word in our thoughts and in our mouth released in faith, powered or motivated by love, and led of the Holy Spirit. This is not a Sunday morning activity alone; it is a 24/7 activity.

What is the condition of our soul, specifically our thought life? We have 100% control of our thought life and it is imperative that we control our thoughts. It has been said that we cannot control other people or the circumstances around us but we can control our response.

Words are designed to change things. His Words change things, look at the Creation Account and the power of His Words to change us when we receive them, believe them, and make them ours. Our words change things as well. We are made in His likeness and image. Just as His Words spoken in faith motivated by love don’t return void, neither do ours.

Isaiah 55:11 (NASB)

11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

Look what Jesus said about our thoughts which are in our heart in abundance and are spoken by the mouth.

Luke 6:45 (NASB)

45 “The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.

Again, we see that we can bring forth from the spirit realm (4^th dimension) into the physical or material realm (3^rd dimension) what we think then speak. What is filling my heart, your heart?

Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
