TRADITIONS, LIES, and TRUTH – PART FIFTY-SEVEN
OH NO, EVEN MORE ABOUT MONEY
Saturday – February 22, 2020, Sh’vat 27, 5780

Greetings to our dear friends and partners of Eastern Gate Ministries International and welcome back to this Saturday series where with the help of The Helper we discern between tradition, doctrines of demons, and the Truth. The traditions of men and the doctrine of demons is really all the same thing. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons. If this is benefiting you, it will benefit others as well. Also, we want to remind y’all (southern for “you all”, or “all of you”) that we are in the planning and organizational stage of hosting (we are one of three hosts) a Women’s Conference on the 30th of May 2020 at New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville Maine. Also, don’t forget the Sabbatical Moments arm of this Ministry which reaches out to Pastors in distress.
I have been dealing with the money issue the last two weeks and that will continue today. I know this makes some pastors uncomfortable. That discomfort comes from believing the lies of the devil, and traditions of men. Each and every ministry leader, every Christian should promote and rejoice over wealth in the leadership and the congregation. It is the will of God, anything less is disobedience. The Lord, our God, is tickled pink when we walk in prosperity.
Psalm 35:27 (KJV)
27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
The word translated as “prosperity” in in this verse is the Hebrew word “shalom” according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. As you know this word means more than just prosperity (financial success) but includes being joined with God (walking with Him, thinking and saying the same thing), being one with Him in Christ Jesus, having the same prosperity He has (abundance unfathomable), a tranquil attitude at all times including in the storm, and being a full partaker in His rest (provision of every sort). How many have heard the world (understandable) and Christians (not understandable) criticize successful preachers with large homes and private jets? This must not be my friends. This attitude by Christians reflects envy, jealousy, and a love of money, the very things that put Jesus on the Cross. Wealth will bring persecution (pressure) from the world and from the Church. Wealth is a part of our Covenant!
Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV)
18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
When we discharge our obligations of the Kingdom concerning wealth these things will flow without toil into our lives. It is a Covenant benefit, period! Many are of the opinion that money is bad and being poor makes one Godlier. That is as far from the Truth as Heaven is from Hell. Look and see the current condition of the Church and the leadership many times preaches this.
Ecclesiastes 10:5-7 (KJV)
5 There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:
6 Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich sit in low place.
7 I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth.
The pagan world is set in great dignity and we the Church are in a low place and we call it humility. Such error should not be! The heathen are to be our servants dear ones yet they ride on the horses (very best cars) and the Church are in the beat up used cars. When will the bells go off in our head and we actually believe the gospel and get this wonderful show on the road? One might ask if the patriarchs of old were poor men or the very richest and most powerful of their day. Is our Covenant a lesser Covenant? In the garden of Eden gold (Genesis 2:11-12) was good and plentiful. Why? Adam and Eve and the progeny to follow them were not running around naked speaking in “uggs” but had a civilization (standard of living) equivalent to Heaven itself. Get poverty off your mind, it is disobedience (sin) and get the wealth of our Covenant on your mind. God has given us money as a tool, as a defense.
Ecclesiastes 7:12 (KJV)
12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it. (Bold added)
Ecclesiastes 10:19 (KJV)
19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things. (Bold added)
Is this Bible or not? Perhaps you have heard the saying “we poor but we are proud”. Well God wants to deliver you from both poverty (He became poor on the Cross so we could be rich – yes financially in this world [2 Cor 8:9]) and pride. Money is neither good or bad but is a powerful tool given by God to give us to be a testimony to all and to further the Kingdom of God.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
