A NEW CREATION – PART SIX
Sunday – February 23, 2020, Sh’vat 28, 5780

Greetings to our precious partners and friends, dear saints of the only living God, and welcome back to this Sunday Bible Study series. Currently this Sunday series is focused on our becoming “a new creature” at the new birth (salvation). If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to encourage us and expand the reach of this Ministry. I hope that each reader, serious student, is being strengthened by the varied topics of this Sunday series. It is exactly what the Holy Spirit wants us to feed. Let’s get so full of the Anointed Word of God that we stand out as a beacon of light and hope in a very dark world. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud.
2 Corinthians 5:17-19 (KJV)
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
I spent some time yesterday talking about how the word “thing” could be substituted with word. Words change things, physical things and spiritual things, they cause changes in the various arrangements of life, and the relationships of life. The prior arrangements, matters, and relationships of our lives passed away and new wonderful Kingdom of God arrangements, matters, and relationships lay before us. Our thinking started changing, our words changed, and our ways changed. We exchanged our unrighteousness for the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Oh, what a day that was, the day of our salvation.
As we move into verse eighteen, we find out that all of these wonderful changes are the will of God and brought about by the power of God. What a good God we have! Many people (billions) are lost without God in deep darkness, deception, and are thinking they are just fine when in fact they are on a path of destruction. Each of us need to be very sure that we are interceding for the lost (unsaved) in our family and those around us. No matter the acts of a person, Hell is too awful and too long for anyone to go there. Thank God there is forgiveness for all sins no matter how little or great we consider them. To be reconciled has to do with an exchange taking place and/or a restoration according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. We exchanged our sin for Jesus’ righteousness and our death for His eternal life. Thank you so much Lord Jesus! Before I finish for today, I want to discuss the following two verses.
2 Corinthians 5:20-21 (KJV)
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
An ambassador is a special representative from one government to another. In this case the Kingdom of God representing the King of kings (Christ) to the world, the kingdom of darkness. An ambassador is not off just saying what they think is best, they are commanded to say only what the leadership of their government says. In our case we are to say what Christ has to say. Christ is our King. We represent Christ to the world, the kingdom of darkness, offering the “great exchange” which is our sin for His righteousness and a restoration to eternal life. Jesus at Calvary and in Hell took care of the sin problem. The only sin that sends a person to Hell is choosing not to believe upon the name of Jesus.
As I close for this week, I want to bring a few interesting and vital Truths forward concerning Ambassadors. An ambassador is the highest ranking official in the host country from the sending country. Think on that for a moment. In the earth we outrank or have more authority than any angel or the Holy Spirit. In fact, all authority in the earth was delegated to mankind in the Garden of Eden and again by Jesus before His ascension back to the Father. An ambassador is to live as do those of the sending country (Heaven) not as the host country (kingdom of darkness). This has to do with the standard of living as well as the laws and customs. In addition, an ambassador has diplomatic immunity in the host country. We are not subject to the laws, the whims of the devil and his bunch. As an example, just as Jesus walked away when they wanted to kill Him, so can we dear ones. We have a protected status in the earth in Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit will hide us and protect us right in plain sight while we do all the will of our God. I hope that all have enjoyed this brief review of this wonderful passage of Scripture.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
