JOINT-HEIRS – PART FOUR
Sunday – May 10, 2020, Iyar 16, 5780

Greetings to all of our beautiful (all of you) and precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good dear saints. Welcome back to this ongoing Sunday teaching series currently dealing with the topic of being a joint-heir with Christ Jesus. We are family dear ones, we are heirs, and have already inherited in Christ Jesus. Each one reading please prayerfully consider being a financial partner with this Ministry becoming a part in the doing and the reward of all the Lord leads us to do. No Ministry or business can function solely on fresh air and best wishes. These posts are the most visible part is this Ministry, the Teaching arm, but there is also the Sabbatical Moments arm which reaches out to discouraged pastors, and the Conference arm. Ladies be sure you have your flyer and have registered for the upcoming Women’s Conference on the 30th of May 2020 themed “The Virtuous Woman” to be held at New Beginnings Church of God, Waterville, Maine. If you would like a poster and flyers for your Church please contact Donna. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and expand the reach of this Ministry.
Being a joint-heir is considerably different than being an heir like in our natural families. In the natural an heir gets a portion or the whole of a defined inheritance. Not so for us in the Kingdom of God. Our inheritance which is already in our names is not just spiritual but is natural and for the here and now. Keep in mind there will always be an earth with heavens and they will be natural just like now (Isaiah 66:22, 2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1 [3 witnesses]). You may be wondering about the picture for this series. The man in the middle represents the Father, the man on the left (or right) represents Jesus, and the other man represents each one of us individually. Now, let’s look at some Scripture concerning us, the children of God, being joint-heirs. It is my prayer that each reader has found each teaching on this topic not only interesting, and thought provoking, but profitable for your knowledge and faith. It should be profitable first for the Kingdom of God, those around us, and then us.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
I suspect that most of us would say we are doing this but the reality is that we are not doing this. Our thoughts, our words, our actions, and the fruit of our life are the clear evidence that we have many gods (idols) before the Almighty God who redeemed us at a great price. Many, if not most, are seeking the things first and fitting God in as part of that at least on Sunday as they can. Until we make Him first, until we seek to do Kingdom business first, loving Him and others, our lives will not reflect or be a testimony of the abundance (super abundance) Jesus came to give us. This love is the God type of love represented by the word agape in the Greek. Loving God is being obedient to His Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit and not just when it is convenient and suits us. Agape (Godly love) is obedience to the Word, living a selfless life, and observing Blood Covenant. By the way, a selfless life is not a life of poverty and living in the land of not enough or just enough. It is also not a life of denying ourselves the best of all things. You think they are working with second hand stuff in Heaven? Let’s get that poverty junk out of our thinking, words, and actions. People in poverty can’t do diddly squat for the Kingdom of God, or for others. We must renew our mind to the abundant life Jesus came to give and is now ours for the taking. We take it by faith, in love, and as led of the Holy Spirit. We are joint-heirs with God dear ones, not someday, today! Let’s think for a moment about what laws of the Kingdom will bring this abundance without limit (yes, without limit).
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (KJV)
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
So, it is the law of sowing and reaping that is the avenue to moving forward and upward forever in the abundant life. What determines how bountifully we reap? Who determines how bountifully we reap? We make both decisions but God will see to it that justice is done, that is to say, whether we reap sparingly or bountifully, He looks at the heart. Where is our heart? Are we cheerful givers or do we just look cheerful when people are looking? The word loveth in verse seven is agape. When we do our part (give bountifully with a cheerful heart) God will do His part and see to it we reap bountifully. When we align with the Word of God, our good Father makes “all grace abound toward us”! Wow, anyone not want that? Since “grace” is another word for the Holy Spirit, just how much grace are we talking about when we say all? The eighth verse goes on to say that not only will we have more than enough but we will abound to every good work. These good works are prepared for us and are kingdom work. We do our real ministry out of our abundance. We have no excuse for not having abundance, we are joint-heirs and the directions are clear (whole Bible).
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
