WHEN WILL GOD RESTORE RIGHTEOUS JUDGES?

Greetings dear saints, sons of God and all others joining. Welcome to this enlightening and inspiring study of the Seven Mountains also referred to as pillars or gates. Of the Seven Mountains, thus far we have discussed the Mountain of Religion, Media, Education, and Business. Today I will continue to focus on the “Government Mountain”. Again, I want to remind all of us to pray for each of the seven mountains, especially the mountains to which we are assigned and therefore have jurisdiction, and authority over.
I spent a lot of time yesterday discussing our prayers for those who are in authority over us. Fortunately, in this country we the people choose who will sit in places of authority. Prayer before and after elections is essential but the Church as a whole has let this slip terribly. There is this awful sacred cow in the Church that God puts who He wants in office, puts one up another down. God has given the earth to men and has given us all authority over the earth. Is that the Truth or not? He will not violate our free will. Here is the thing, we must decide to do His will and give Him a place to bring the Kingdom of God into our lives and the earth over which we have responsibility. Individually and as a body we must forsake, repudiate, that terrible apathy the lie of Satan that it is all up to God while we just sing have your way oh Lord. Surveys show that half of the Church is not even registered to vote! That is sin on steroids. This and the others who vote for unrighteousness is an abrogation of our stewardship responsibility over the earth and to be salt and light in the culture. Now, let’s turn our attention to the three co-equal branches of the government of the United States a template from Heaven.
Isaiah 33:22 (KJV)
22 For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.
Heaven, the Kingdom of God, is a Theocratic Monarchy where God is the Judge, the Lawgiver, and the King. Here in the earth, in this nation, in spite of recent protests we are a democratic republic a pattern we see in the Isaiah 33:22 verse. First let’s look at the Judicial Branch of Government and a wonderful promise of God.
Isaiah 1:26 (KJV)
26 And I will restore thy judges as at the first, and thy counsellors as at the beginning: afterward thou shalt be called, The city of righteousness, the faithful city.
Unless you are completely devoid of awareness of what is going on there is injustice on every hand. What will bring about righteous judges being raised up?
Isaiah 1:18-20 (KJV)
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
Let me ask a few things of you and of myself. Have we consulted face to face with the Lord and repented of our sins, our unrighteousness? He said if we would repent, He would cleanse us. Are we willing to do all the will of God or do we view our walk with Him as a buffet? Are we both willing and obedient to the Word, the will of God? Do we want to “eat the good of the land” or continue to walk in the lies of Satan and in rebellion believing traditions of men, doctrines of demons, and sacred cows. Let’s look at a little more instruction from Heaven before ending for today. The following passage applies to all three branches of government at every level (local, state, federal).
Ezra 7:25-27 (KJV)
25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.
26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:
Do we, the body of Christ, take any of this serious or are we just looking for the next handout from the government, our idol, our god.
TAKE HOME:
- Thank you Lord for restoring righteous judges and lawyers so that we are known as a righteous and faithful nation. This will only come in our repentance and doing the will of God.
- Let us choose to be willing and obedient to all the Word of God, all the will of God. Being willing is an heart issue and God knows our heart.
- Judges are to know not only the laws of man but the Laws of God. If they don’t know the Laws of God, they are to be taught before being put in office.
As the Lord wills, I will return tomorrow with fresh revelation. The Lord bless and keep you and yours. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
