IN THE BEGINNING GOD SAID

Greetings dear saints, sons of God and all others joining. Welcome to this enlightening and inspiring study of the Seven Mountains also referred to as pillars or gates. Of the Seven Mountains, thus far we have discussed the Mountain of Religion, Media, Education, and Business. Today i will continue focusing on the “Government Mountain” examining the three branches of government in the United States. I also want to remind all of us to pray for each of the seven mountains, especially the mountains to which we are assigned and therefore have jurisdiction, and authority over. In the beginning God said.
Genesis 1:26-28 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
We see that we were made with three parts, spirit, soul, and body. Two parts were of God and therefore with exercise can operate like God and one part of the earth which is what gives us jurisdiction in the earth and in Heaven. God gave us, man (male and female), dominion over all the earth except other men. Then He gave us His Power (the Blessing) to accomplish all His will in submission to Him. All of us all the time are doing either the will of God or the will of Satan. Even when we think we are doing what we want, if it is not of God, it is of Satan. Not only were they, and we, to be fruitful, multiply, replenish, and subdue the earth so as to be like Heaven but we were give other stewardship responsibilities.
Genesis 2:15 (KJV)
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
Adam and Eve and those following, like you and me, were to take care of the garden, maintaining it like Heaven and guarding the garden (what is in our hand). Now just a little more about the Judicial Branch of government.
Isaiah 5:20-24 (KJV)
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!
24 Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.
I am sure that as you read through this passage you could see our time and the injustice on every side. Why is that what is happening? It is not the will of God nor some mysterious plan of God that we just don’t understand but will later. That is utter malarky. It is always the same reason. This has happened “because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel”. Disobedience, unbelief, wanting to go our own way always breaks the hedge so the serpent bits and is the cause for the curse to alight. When will we forsake rebellion and pride which are of the nature of Satan?
TAKE HOME:
- We are in the image and likeness of God, in like kind, with dominion over the earth and Gods’ Power (the Blessing) to back up what is of His will.
- It is past time for us to tend our garden and guard it.
- When will we forsake rebellion and pride which are of the nature of Satan?
