SEVEN MOUNTAINS OR PILLARS – PART SIX

WHAT IS THE WORLD VIEW IN EDUCATION AND CHURCH?

Greetings dear saints, sons of God and all others joining. Welcome to this enlightening and inspiring study of the Seven Mountains also referred to as pillars or gates. Of the Seven Mountains, thus far we have discussed the Mountain of Religion and Media. Today we will focus on the “Education Mountain”. Remember, whoever controls the gates to a city in ancient times controlled the city. In the context of these teachings when I use the word “controlled” I am not saying it as making one do this or that but as the ones having the greatest influence. Who controls the gates to the Education Mountains and who is having the greatest influence on the world view of the Education Mountain today?

Here again Christians should be influencing every level of education including controlling the gates of education. Remember we are the ones with authority as God’s original intent, and we are to be the head and above. Meditate the following verse once again for this is the will of God concerning you.

Deuteronomy 28:13 (KJV)

13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:

God sees to it that we are the head and not the tail and that we are above and not beneath when we walk in obedience to Him, to all His commandments. The education that supersedes all other education, is knowledge of the Lord for with the Lord all things are possible (Matthew 19:26), without Him only the results of the world.

Proverbs 1:7 (KJV)

7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Fear in this verse is to reverence, honor and fools are a person who is perverse, silly, and despises morality (God’s).

Proverbs 1:22 (KJV)

22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

This happens even in Church. The verse reminds me of the following verse.

Hosea 4:6 (KJV)

6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Here we see that the rejection of knowledge of God is extraordinarily dangerous, a very foolish act. Listen to what God said to the children of Israel through Moses. God does not change.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7 (KJV)

4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

Here we see that spiritual education rests primarily with the parents of the children and secondarily with the Church. Unfortunately, we have handed off secular education to the government and spiritual education to the Church. We are too busy serving other gods. The secular educational system has become godless and in fact antigod. Then we wonder why something like only 4% of “Christian” kids stay in Church in and after college. In addition, the spiritual education they are receiving at home and Church is not getting the job done either. Unrepented, what will we say at the Judgement Seat of Christ?

Why did the Lord share with Abraham what He was about to do concerning the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah?  

Genesis 18:17-19 (KJV)

17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.  

Let us pray for Education, likewise each of the Mountains, Pillars, Gates. I call all persons on the Education Mountain to salvation and to the knowledge of the Truth. I send the ministering spirits into the harvest; and I declare that the Word of God (Seed) is producing a harvest. Mercy upon each person in the Education Mountain. I pray that the teachers in education teach a Judeo-Christian world view not just reading, writing, and arithmetic as we used to say. Spiritual education belongs primarily at home and secondarily with the Church. I pray that these together (Education spiritual and secular) produce men and woman with Godly character that are responsible productive citizens.

TAKE HOME:

1. What are your children learning and from whom.
2. What are you learning and from whom.
3. The Church dropped the ball with the Education Mountain and Satan was quick to pick it up.

As the Lord wills, I will return tomorrow with fresh revelation. The Lord bless and keep you and yours.  Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
