SABBATICAL MOMENTS ARM

Welcome to the Saturday edition of The Three Minute Word which has been outlining the origins and vision of this Ministry as well as other issues as the Lord leads. God is so good dear ones. Today I plan to spend some time speaking about the Sabbatical Moments Arm of this Ministry. If you are reading this on Facebook or another platform please share with others to expand the reach of these teachings, this Ministry. As I am writing this on the 10th of April everyone is hoping that this virus and the quarantine will be over by the time this is published on the 9th of May. As you know it is not. When it does pass do not be deceived. Unless there has been a great repentance and changes in the Church which impacts the world know that the enemy is only regrouping and preparing the next pestilence. It is like in a natural war where assaults come in waves. Unfortunately, the “traditional Church” is unprepared and in great confusion. A phrase that we are all familiar with has been coming up in my thinking lately. That phrase is; when they say peace, peace, then comes great destruction.
1 Thessalonians 5:3 (KJV)
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
This verse is referring to the Rapture and the subsequent Tribulation period however this is a principle that is applicable today and has been applicable and has played out time and again for millennia. Think about Pearl Harbor and 9-11 as two examples in many of our lifetimes. These came suddenly and our world changed seemingly in a moments time. This Coronavirus for most of us arose in a moments time and I think honest persons would say it has changed our world again. The Church at large has failed to judge itself and is being judged with the world. The cure for this is to judge ourselves and to repent so that we are not judged with the world.
Now, let’s turn our attention to the Sabbatical Moments Arm of this Ministry. Many years ago, when I was in Texas the Lord had put in my heart to develop a Ministry to Pastors. For many reasons, no excuses, that call and anointing in fulness got put on the shelf. Last April (2019) the Lord reminded me of this ministry and said the time was now to take it off the shelf. I consulted with several people whom I trust as hearing from the Lord and got nothing but affirmation and confirmation. So, the Ministry was launched as a part or arm of Eastern Gate Ministries International but with a separate bank account. Among the things we are doing, led of the Holy Spirit, is putting the pastor and spouse in a nice hotel with meals paid, spa, and perhaps other amenities for a couple of days to give a period of encouragement and rejuvenation. We also have an ongoing project (in the fund-raising phase) to restore a beautiful Church in Bangor Maine which is in disrepair desperately needing either paint or vinyl siding. Anyone the Lord is prompting to contribute to this project can send the money to Eastern Gate Ministries International, 10 Village Green Circle, Oakland, Maine 04963 and put Church project in the memo section of the check. We are a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit so you will get a tax deductible Contribution Statement at the end of the year.
You may be wondering about the graphic at the beginning of this article. This was an image I believe the Lord placed in my mind and I subsequently had it produced. As you may be all too aware, a person can look like 10 million bucks on the outside but be beaten to a pulp on the inside. The graphic (picture) depicts a pastor and spouse in spiritual distress with the armor of God scattered over the battlefield. As you can see, they have been struck with the flaming darts of the enemy. We can see a great light that is available because of Calvary (empty cross and tomb) on the horizon. We are one ministry available to God for His use to reach out to this couple. Our goal is to lift them up and give them courage to put the armor back on, reenter the spiritual war, and defeat the enemy. Jesus did not come so that we could win some and lose some, we can win them all! The following is one of the Scriptures that God has given us as a foundation.
Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Sometimes in our walk with the Lord we think we are with Him and doing His will, but in reality, we are not, we have gotten off track. God never intended for His people to toil and be “heavy laden” but instead to have His easy yoke and light burden. If it is not easy and it is not light, it is not God. If the yoke is not easy and the burden is not light, we are not with Him, pure and simple. The Lord is at the door knocking.
Revelation 3:19-22 (KJV)
19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Will each of us choose to receive the love of the Lord, receive His rebuke, and receive His teaching (pure Word) and repent? Will we choose to hear and let the Lord come near? Will we be that overcomer that He came and died for? Will we choose hearing ears or continue doing what we are doing expecting a different result any moment?
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
