I AM NO MORE IN THE WORLD
Greetings to our dear and precious friends and Partners and welcome back to this insightful (revelation from God) Bible Study of the Book of John. Another week is running by rapidly, the weekend is almost upon us. Are we running with God? Before you go any further please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to extend the reach, the influence, of this Ministry but more importantly the reach of the Truth. Like each day this week, before we dive into our primary Bible text for today let’s consider a couple of questions. Will God ever lead us to violate the laws of the land that do not violate His laws? Is violating the laws of the land sin? How much sin, or under what circumstances is sin okay with God?
The elections are rapidly coming, November 3rd will be here before we know it. I encourage each one to look at the Republican and Democrat platforms for this is their agenda. The following regarding life is from the Republican Platform. Protecting Human Life – The Constitution’s guarantee that no one can “be deprived of life, liberty or property” deliberately echoes the Declaration of Independence’s proclamation that “all” are “endowed by their Creator” with the inalienable right to life. Accordingly, we assert the sanctity of human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental right to life which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment’s protections apply to children before birth.
Now the Democrat Platform: Like the majority of Americans, Democrats believe every woman should be able to access high-quality reproductive health care services, including safe and legal abortion. We oppose and will fight to overturn federal and state laws that create barriers to women’s reproductive health and rights, including by repealing the Hyde Amendment and protecting and codifying the right to reproductive freedom. And Democrats will take action to protect the rights of pregnant women in the workplace, including by requiring employers to make reasonable accommodations for pregnant and breastfeeding workers and those who have recently given birth and at last joining other advanced economies by enacting paid sick days and universal paid family and medical leave.
Which platform aligns with Scripture? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:9-12 (KJV)
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
I talk often in these teachings about calling those things which be not as though they already exist (Romans 4:17). This is critical to victory in our Christian life otherwise we are relegated to a very natural life. We are to decree the answer, not whine about the problem, in Jesus name, in faith powered by love (agape), and led of the Holy Spirit. Here in the eleventh verse of our primary text we see Jesus calling things that be not as though it already had happened. Jesus is still in the earth yet we see Him saying He is “no more in the world”. We see this in the Old Testament as well.
Psalm 122:1-2 (KJV)
1 I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.
2 Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem.
This is a song of ascent which the Hebrews (Jews) sang on their way to Jerusalem for the various Feasts. Jerusalem is upward for it is located on seven mountains. The King James makes it sound like they are confessing a future event but further study shows they are declaring their feet to already be in Jerusalem even as they are on the way.
Psalm 122:1-2 (HCSB)
1 I rejoiced with those who said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
2 Our feet are standing within your gates, Jerusalem—
Notice the New Living Translation is also present tense while they are on the way.
Psalm 122:1-2 (NLT)
1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.”
2 And now here we are, standing inside your gates, O Jerusalem.
Notice this very familiar conversation God had with Abram.
Genesis 17:5 (KJV)
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
God changed Abrams name from exalted father to Abraham the father of a multitude or many nations and it is in the past tense. Yet, Isaac is nine months away. Whatever God has promised you, declare it in the past tense over yourself and don’t stop thanking Him for it until you have the manifestation whether it be ten minutes or twenty years. Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
