AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

Greetings to all of our dear friends and partners who follow and support this blog. We are thankful for each and every one of you. Today I will be picking up with our study of the Book of John. Please, take a moment right now to share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the influence of this Ministry but more importantly to expand the reach of the Truth. The November 3rd elections will soon be upon us here in the United States. God holds each of us responsible to vote and for how we vote. This is not just a citizenship responsibility, obligation, but a stewardship responsibility before God. The United States is a part of our garden.
Genesis 2:15 (AMP)
15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
Many Christians are praying for our nation with many concerns including COVID-19, the violence, abortion, sexual perversions, and many other wicked manifestations of evil. People are praying for revival or an awakening. I think we can all agree that we want our land healed. We surely need an awakening. Is our land healed? Why not? Are we in the midst of an awakening? Why not?
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
In order for the desired healing of our land to take place who is God looking to for repentance? The devils’ people or those who confess Jesus as Lord? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:11-16 (KJV)
11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
Jesus is just a few hours before the Cross. In earlier chapters there was a long dialog with the disciples and now His attention is directed to the Father. These Words of course are also for our admonition, direction, as well as comfort. He is telling the Father that He kept all the persons the Father gave Him safe with the exception of the “son of perdition” (destruction). Now, today, in the presence of the Fathers’ watchful eye, who is watching over those who are in Christ Jesus?
Jude 1:22-25 (NLT)
22 And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering.
23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives.
24 Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault.
We are watching over each other! In the natural the more mature watch over the less mature and so it is in the Kingdom of God. This passage is referring to fellow believers not the heathen. It strikes me that we have far more authority and Power in the keeping of our fellow believers from slipping away and eventually being lost (going to Hell) than is commonly known or taught. I heard a man say once that God told him; “I’m trying to get them in not keep them out”. I think all too often we are trying to keep people out, too quick to say this one or that one is in Hell. We can be very harsh, judgmental, and speak Hell into peoples lives rather than Heaven. Let’s join forces with our Father and their Father and keep them on the way to Heaven. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
