BEHOLD THEY KNOW WHAT I SAID

Greetings dear and precious saints of God, friends and partners. Those of you who are friends and believe the Lord is calling you to be partners with us financially, we invite you as well. This Ministry is growing and you can be a vital part of that growth to bring the good news, the Truth to the lost and to our brothers and sisters sitting in darkness. Your seed sown into this Ministry will not just increase our capacity but when you sow in faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit that seed will bring a great harvest into your life. The featured picture today is of Donna and me on a recent leaf and covered bridge peeping trip with precious friends. Fall is so beautiful here in Maine. Don’t forget about the Wednesday evening Bible Study on Zoom at 6 pm eastern time. If you don’t have the meeting id and password please contact me. Before we dive into our Book of John text, I believe the Lord would have me share the following verse with you. Please don’t say, oh, I’ve seen this the last three days, and just skip ahead. Faith does not come by hearing one time only but by meditation (Joshua 1:8).
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
There is a false assumption that where ever one might attend Church, especially our Church, that only the Truth is being declared. That is far from the truth for in many places the traditions of men and the doctrines of demons are taught as the Truth. The people teaching these thing may be very sincere, even loud, even energetic but unaware they are teaching and preaching a lie but none the less it is a lie. We see people of God all around us, perhaps even you, being destroyed financially, physically, and relationally. Why? A lack of knowledge (of God) never has a good outcome. There is no love of God without the progressive gaining of the knowledge of God.
God through the Prophet Hosea tells us that at least one reason for His people being destroyed is that they are rejecting knowledge (of Him). So, we have to ask ourselves, is the knowledge I have, and am receiving the Truth or a lie? The Scripture goes on to say that when we reject the true knowledge of Him, we are rejected. Why? We are not walking with Him but with the god of this world. Do you suppose we should examine ourselves? I know we all like to hear something different but the simple truth is that when things are not working in our lives according to Scripture it is not the fault of God or the Scripture. The demons are playing a significant role but we are in the position for we are the ones making the choices not the demons and not God. When we reject the true knowledge of God not only are we rejected but our priestly (function of intercession) role is rejected, and our children are without hope. Let us repent, and examine every one of our beliefs in humility before God. In this way we will again walk with Him, gaining knowledge (Truth), being accepted, being an efficient, effective priest, and bringing a fulness of protection around our children.
Now let’s turn our attention to our Bible text in the Book of John and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 18:19-22 (KJV)
19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.
20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
21 Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.
22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so?
Jesus is being shuttled around Jerusalem between those of religious and secular authority on His way to the Cross at 9 am this same day. Notice that the High Priest is asking Jesus a two-part question. Jesus does not address the part about His disciples at all and refers them to those who heard Him concerning “his doctrine”. Jesus said they knew what He said. Do we know what He has said or only what someone else told us He said? Have we had ears to hear, have we received, have we believed, and have we acted? An officer maintaining custody over Jesus seemed to think His answer was insulting or insolent to the High Priest and slaps Him. The sacrifice of Jesus for us all is underway.
Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. Remember, God is good and He is nothing but good.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
