AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

ALL I HAVE IS OF YOU
Greetings to all of the dear and precious saints who diligently study and prove (Acts 17:11) this blog. It’s not true or Truth because I said it, it is true or Truth because God said it. Welcome back to this wonderful and powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Before we dive into the Bible Study be reminded that it is less than two months to a pivotal election. All elections are very important and we, the Church, have an obligation to vote. Watching the Church vote (and about half don’t) then seeing how they voted in the exit polls or post-election analysis is beyond frustrating. I don’t know anyone’s heart like the Lord does and I don’t know how much light (reveled Word of God) others have who vote in ways absolutely antithetical (opposing, hostile) to Scripture. I am not qualified to be anyone’s judge. Please study the Bible and vote according to the Scripture and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We will not be led by the Holy Spirit to vote differently than what is found in Scripture. We will not be led by God to not vote (violates stewardship), or vote for persons who promote abortion, sexual perversion, or less than a full-throated support of Israel.
Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:6-10 (KJV)
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Are we fully aware that Jesus is our prime example and what applies to Him applies to us? In our text, Jesus is confessing to the Father that all He has and has had in the earth was of the Father, or came from the Father. Are we consciously aware that every good thing in our life is from God? Every good thing in our lives are not from the devil and certainly not of ourselves. Do we recognize these things? Subconsciously at least I think many of us believe that there are a few things we received from God and the rest was either just sort of there, came from other people, or our efforts produced it. Anything good in anyone’s life is from God, the devil does not possess the capacity to bring good into anyone’s life. Consider the following verse in this context.
Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)
22 The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
One might think of the following verse and offer it as proof that good can come by way of the devil, at least passively on his part.
Luke 4:5-7 (KJV)
5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
The devil is telling Jesus (like He didn’t already know and that is the reason He is come) that he has authority over all the kingdoms of this world. We know that the Apostle Paul refers to Satan as the god of this world.
2 Corinthians 4:4 (KJV)
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
Now, to look back to Proverbs 10:22 we find that riches by the hand of the Blessing, of God, bring no sorrow, no downside. The other side of that coin is that when it does not come via God there will be sorrow. This seems like an easy choice but just a quick glance around suggests it is not and we are making the choice to work with the devil all too much. We are all aware of very rich peoples, the richest in the world, yet most are not of the Kingdom of God. Why are not the richest men and women in the earth of the Kingdom of God since all things are ours and anything the devil now has, he has it illegally? The plain and simple answer is in 2 Corinthians 4:4 above. We have a responsibility to receive all things by the Hand of our Lord and never cease to give Him thanks, praise, and worship. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
