THOU GAVEST THEM ME
Greetings to all of the dear and precious saints who diligently study and prove this blog. It’s not true or Truth because I said it, it is true or Truth because God said it. Welcome back to this wonderful and powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible. Before we dive into the Bible Study be reminded that we are less than two months to a pivotal election. All elections are very important and we, the Church, have an obligation to vote. Watching the Church vote (about half don’t) and seeing how they voted in the exit polls or post-election analysis is beyond frustrating. I don’t know anyone’s heart like the Lord does or how much light (reveled Word of God) others walk in who vote in ways absolutely antithetical (opposing, hostile) to Scripture. I am not qualified to be anyone’s judge. Please study the Bible and vote according to the Scripture and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We will not be led by the Holy Spirit to vote differently than what is found in Scripture. We will not be led by God to not vote (violates stewardship), or vote for persons who promote abortion, sexual perversion, or have less than a full-throated support of Israel. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:6-10 (KJV)
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
Are you, am I, ready to dive into this material, this light (Anointed Word) today? Jesus is praying, talking to the Father, just a few hours before surrendering to the Cross. He is telling the Father, the listening disciples, and us that when you have seen Him (Jesus) you have seen the goodness, the nature of the Father. As I pointed out yesterday, we should be able to say the same thing. When people have seen us, watched our life, they have seen the nature, the goodness, and the character of the Father, our Lord, and Helper.
All peoples who have ever lived, are now living, and will live in the future belong to God by virtue of the creation. He has given all self-determination or freewill from Adam to the very last person to be born in the future. All persons are conceived and born with a fallen nature, which is to say, a dead spirit man. As each of us reach the age of understanding we make a conscious choice to declare Jesus as Lord or to remain with Satan as lord. If a child dies anytime between their conception and age of understanding or accountability (about age 12 +/-) they are found innocent for they did not have the conscious capacity to choose and therefore go to Heaven. Our God is a God of mercy and justice and for these children to go into Hell for eternity would be unjust, far from our God. Consider this Psalm of Ethan the Ezrahite.
Psalm 89:14 (AMP)
14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and loving-kindness and truth go before Your face.
There are three basic ideas about where the soul and spirit of a man come from at conception. I have reviewed these before but I will throw out a little red meat for your consideration. First and I think by far least likely is that it arrives from some vast collection of souls/spirits somewhere in the universe. Second is the idea that the soul/spirit comes from God. If this be the case the spirit would be alive (not dead) and would die if the child at the age of understanding rejected Jesus as Lord. This would contradict 1 Corinthians 15:22. Third, is the idea that the soul/spirit of this new life comes from the parents just as do the characteristics of the physical body. What if the parents are born again? The child is still conceived with a dead spirit needing to make a decision for Christ at the age of understanding and beyond. Only the Holy Spirit (God) can impart spiritual life. Each of these present mysteries but are not beyond our understanding in Him. However, we must remember that all things are possible with God and that we incompletely understand His ways and Power. We are on a learning curve and all these things will be made much clearer before the end. We have the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) so the only limitation on our understanding is we ourselves.
All persons are the Father’s but not all persons are in relationship or fellowship with the Father. Upon salvation, declaring Jesus as Lord the Father gives them into the care of the Son. When all is done the Son will give them, those who were the Sons’ back to the Father. Only the saved are the Sons’.
1 Corinthians 15:22-25 (KJV)
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
Notice in verse twenty-four that the Kingdom of God, now with Jesus as the Head, will be given to the Father when all is said and done. As we end notice in verse twenty-two that all who have descended from Adam are dead until made alive by Christ. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
