AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

BEARING HIS CROSS
Greetings to our precious friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good dear ones. The Thanksgiving Holiday is behind, Christmas (next Friday) and the New Year are looming just ahead. Please take a few moments to share this teaching as widely as possible. Thank you for sharing. What we have done with this year depends on our focus. Let us ask ourselves, has our focus been on the natural, flesh and blood, or the spiritual and the demonic forces that look to destroy this nation.
God did not bring this COVID-19 pestilence upon the earth, it has come by way of the destroyer, it is not the will of God that any perish. The Church are the ones who have allowed this pestilence and the Church are the only ones that can defeat this pestilence. On the other hand, what the devil (destroyer) has meant for evil God can use for good. This Ministry in partnership with others is looking to get out of the box and take the war into the devils’ territory. You will also be seeing changes in my writing as we enter the new year, a new season. I am about to start another book (more info to come), republish some booklets (short reads), and we will be dropping the Saturday edition of The Three Minute Word. Now, let’s turn our attention to our teaching for today and read our primary Bible text aloud, yes, out loud.
John 19:17-20 (KJV)
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.
19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.
20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.
Other than the creation of man in the image and likeness of God we are now studying the most important day in all of human history. The day Jesus would take away our sins and redeem us from the curse returning the Blessing to those who believe.
Romans 3:24-25 (KJV)
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (Bold added)
And dear ones there is plenty of Blood for any sins after salvation, more on that in a moment. We are redeemed from the curse, all of it.
Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV)
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
What wonderful news, we are completely redeemed from the curse, all of the curse so why is it that so many are wallowing around in the curse? Read all of Deuteronomy chapter 28, nothing listed as part of the curse is attractive to me. We have the Blessing of Abraham, the Holy Spirit and Power! This curse of the law named above is the law of sin and death.
Genesis 2:17 (KJV)
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
When those in Christ Jesus sin either on purpose or in ignorance their spirit does not immediately die as did Adam and Eves’. We have grace and our sin can be forgiven when we confess them and receive forgiveness. That does not mean we are to tempt God.
1 John 1:9 (KJV)
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We may be out of some degree of fellowship for a season when we sin, but not out of relationship (still a child of God). Just as when one of our natural children throw a wheel so to speak there can be a disruption of fellowship but they remain our beloved child.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
