DECLARE THE THING

Greetings to all who have come to this blog and welcome to this Holy Spirit directed Bible Study of the Book of John. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as you possibly can to expand our reach, to expand the reach of the Truth. The featured picture today of Donna and me was taken a couple of weeks ago by Pastor Tom DuPerry II at Smalls Falls, Maine. A very pretty location a few miles outside of Rangeley Maine. We all seem to act and think like the status quo is what we will have forever. Not so dear ones. Let us seek every day to redeem (make the best use of our time) our time.
Ephesians 5:15-17 (YLT)
15 See, then, how exactly ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise,
16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil;
17 because of this become not fools, but–understanding what is the will of the Lord,
This life will soon be over whether Jesus comes in our lifetime or not and after that the judgment. Have you, have I, given any thought to the coming judgment? Now, let’s focus our attention upon our primary text and read it aloud, yes, out loud.
John 17:4-6 (KJV)
4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
Please notice how Jesus, as a man, is talking to His Heavenly Father, now our Heavenly Father. He is not begging or asking, He is expressing, speaking (command, decree, instruction) the will of the Father in faith. Most Christians are asking and begging not decreeing the will of God. Those ‘prayers’ are never, hear me, never, answered! We are to find the will of God and speak it into the earth. We, like our Father God, are to call those things which be not as though they are and He will bring it to pass.
John 14:10 (KJV)
10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Jesus spoke the will of God and God brought it to pass. Here is a second witness.
Job 22:28 (KJV)
28 Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.
What about a third witness.
Psalm 8:5-6 (KJV)
5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
To “have dominion” means to exercise authority which cause the Hand of God (“thy hands”) to accomplish all. The hands of God are the Holy Spirit, the Holy Angels and fellow laborers in the Kingdom (other people). Let’s look at even a fourth witness (there are many more).
Isaiah 45:11 (KJV)
11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
“Command ye me”, how many Christians believe this is what the Lord expects of us? Do we believe it? Do we do it? This is the will of God, the way, the only way, to move the Kingdom forward. Let’s look again at Mark 11.
Mark 11:22-24 (KJV)
22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Are we asking God to remove the mountain or are we telling the mountain (whatever is in our way) to move and by our will not doubting and then seeing the Power of God move the mountain into the sea? That is why we must have faith in God. The King of kings, Jesus, the Word, determines or makes clear to us the will of God and we the kings in the earth issue the decree authorizing God to move.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week. I want to take a moment as I have ended this teaching to remind everyone to prepare for the November elections. Know the platforms of the two parties. Get voter guides from good Christian sources. The choices this time are as stark as at any time in our lifetimes between light and dark, good and evil. Choose the light of Scripture and God’s Word concerning what is good.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
