EVEN MORE ON BEING GODS
Thursday – June 20, 2019, Sivan 17, 5779
Greetings precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to this fascinating and revealing Bible Study of the Book of John. Now let us turn our attention to the Bible Study and read the primary text aloud.
John 10:30-36 (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Some of you may be saying, oh no, more of this “ye are gods” stuff. None of us, not you, not me, no one, can operate in the earth as Jesus did unless we know who we are in Him. Yet, Jesus gave the command that not only were we to do the things He did but we were to do even greater things. We can do the greater things because of the Cross!
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
The greater things include the following verses and more.
Isaiah 61:4-6 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
We are children of God, we are family, we have full access to the Kingdom, the delegated authority (dominion) and flow of the whole (may be an irrelevant word with regard to God) Power of God at our command led of the Holy Spirit. Never forget the following verse. God is waiting for we the children to awaken.
Isaiah 45:11 (KJV)
11 Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.
Are we my brothers and sisters asking what our part might be in the Kingdom? When we do know the will of God, are we issuing the appropriate commands or are we whimpering on the floor expecting God to swoop into our situation. Most of the time we are not waiting on God, He is waiting on us. There are spiritual laws in place, established by God and even He will not violate these spiritual laws. Dear brother and sister without adherence to spiritual law you will wear the rug out before anything happens supernatural. As we are winding down for today, let us consider the following Scripture. This is the fifth witness (Genesis, Psalm, Isaiah, John).
2 Peter 1:4 (KJV)
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
These promises fill the Scripture, and these are commitments made by God based on Blood Covenant. The promises and the laws of God are immutable. These promises and these laws never appear or are put into action automatically, we play a very fundamental role, we always have a part. They require a discharge of our responsibility and then God does His part, what only He can do. We always have a part. We must do our part in faith, unwavering faith and then and only then will He do His part. As we step into these promises starting with salvation, we become partakers of the divine nature. Before salvation we are dead in our spirit, soul, and have no divine nature, our nature is a fallen nature and more like that of Satan. It is like the nature of Satan; it is not the nature of Satan. At salvation we are quickened made alive spiritually, are inhabited by the Holy Spirit, becoming one with God. In an instant we are returned to the divine nature given in the Garden of Eden to the very first man, Adam. We are divine, supernatural, beings’ dear ones. Do not shrink from it, that displeases the Father.

Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
