OH NO, MORE GOD STUFF
Wednesday – June 19, 2019, Sivan 16, 5779

Greetings precious saints of the only living God and welcome back to this fascinating and revealing Bible Study of the Book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take just a moment and hit the “share” and “like” buttons to expand the reach of the Truth, the reach of this Ministry. Thank you for doing that faithful brothers and sisters. The featured pictures this week will be of various outdoor scenes here in Maine and Friday will be a selfie of my wonderful bride and myself by the lake. Now let us turn our attention to the Bible Study and read the primary text aloud.
John 10:30-36 (KJV)
30 I and my Father are one.
31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
I hope there were not too many heads of hair on fire yesterday as we launched into John 10:34. Remember, we are looking at the Words of Jesus, we are looking at Scripture, we are looking at what the Most High God has said. This is not a figment of my imagination or others but the present reality in which we exist and will always exist. The reality is that we are in the God class having the same spiritual DNA as the Father (as Elohim) as gods, the children of God. Soon we will have the same physical uncorrupted DNA as our Lord Jesus with our glorified bodies like unto His. Now, let’s launch into Psalm eighty-two, the source of Jesus’ quote, and see how all this applies to us right now.
Psalm 82:1-8 (KJV)
1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
As we launch into this Psalm, we find ʾElōhîm judging among the children, you and me so there is no confusion here. He is asking us why we are judging the thoughts, words, and actions of the heathen and accepting those thoughts, words, and actions. Why are you accepting the unholy ideas, words, and actions rather than rejecting them as ungodly? We are not talking about rejecting people but ideas, words, and actions. Instead of cozying up to the world, defend the poor, the fatherless, and those unjustly burdened. Bring these out of the hand of the wicked into the Kingdom of God. Show them the way of abundance not affliction at the hands of the wicked. Bring light so they may walk in the light. These are our orders as well; this is all congruent with the original seven mandates for mankind for all time. Now, back to “ye are gods” (John 10:34). Consider the following and the logical and spiritual Truths.
Genesis 1:26-27 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 2:7 (KJV)
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
How this can be interpreted as anything but man being made in the God class I do not know. In Genesis 2:7 God did not puff fresh air (physical air) into Adam but His own life, His essence, Himself. The flesh given man was a prophetic glimpse that God Himself would take on flesh to redeem this errant self-willed man. More tomorrow if you can take it.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
