FAITH AND THE ANOINTING
Tuesday – July 23, 2019, Tamuz 20, 5779
Greeting dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this powerful, encouraging, and empowering Bible Study of the book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take just a moment and hit the “share” and “like” buttons, even tag your friends as the Lord leads you. These studies, this Ministry is focused, primarily aimed at strengthening the body of Christ which is the body of Anointing in the earth. Another way to say it is that we as individuals and a corporate body have the Anointing who is the Holy Spirit upon and within us and we constitute the body of God in the earth. Direction comes from the head and is carried out by the body just as in our human bodies. The featured pictures this week with the exception of the Friday edition are from my sweetheart’s birth State, Massachusetts. Now let’s turn our attention to the Bible Study, first reading our primary text from the Book of John aloud.
John 11:25-30 (KJV)
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.
I left off yesterday challenging us all, me included, as to what we really believe. Are we living the life that God has given us and was His will from the very beginning or are we just talking about it? In the beginning God breathed of Himself into Adam and that has been propagated to this day. Adam had the spiritual DNA of God Himself and was in every way like God except in the fulness of the things which make God, God. These distinctive things are being all powerful, everywhere present, and all knowing. We are capable of all of this in part. For example, power without limit can flow through us when we are speaking the will of God and doing the will of God. We have access to the mind of Christ and can know all things according to our assignments in the Kingdom of God, this also is without limitation. We also can be and are in fact in more than one place at a time.
John 3:34 (KJV)
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
Perhaps we will have the capacity in days to come before and after the Catching away to be in more than two places at once. It is all a matter of faith. There are already examples of this when people are translated into a certain place for a specific purpose. In that circumstance it seems that their spirit man is located with the physical body, at the right hand of the Father in Christ Jesus in Heaven, and at the place of assignment. Simultaneously, the spirit and soul man (living soul) is on assignment with the physical body as needed in the assignment. This is all very possible according to secular knowledge today as regards to quantum mechanics. As I move forward, I want us all, me included, to fully understand that we are to have and experience life just as God, just as Heaven, experiences life. Is there any poverty in Heaven? Is there any sickness and disease in Heaven? Is there poverty of any kind in Heaven? Since those things are not in Heaven, not legal in Heaven, not allowed in Heaven why do we allow them in our life, life of God, in the earth? Our life is to mirror the life of God in Heaven. Let’s repent and inquire of God as to the very first steps for us individually to change our life in the earth and become that irrefutable witness of our God.
Next, we find Martha confessing that she believes that Jesus is the Christ, the long-awaited Messiah, and that He (Jesus) is indeed the Son of God. This expresses the idea that only God could redeem mankind. Adam, a sinless man, sinned and it would take a sinless man to pay the price of that sin. That sinless man was Christ Jesus. Thank you, Lord, for leaving Heaven, suffering the humiliation of becoming a common man, and dwelling among us. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for redeeming us from the curse and restoring the Blessing, the Holy Spirit to Covenant man. Now, Martha leaves Jesus who has not yet arrived in Bethany to get Mary. It would seem that Jesus is taking His time getting to the gravesite and the house for she has time to go ahead. For a miracle to take place there must be the meeting of faith with the Anointing. There is no question about the Anointing upon and in Jesus, but what about the faith of Martha and Mary. Was it that neither Martha or Mary had faith and perhaps not even Lazarus and therefore in his death the faith needed was that of Jesus to ignite the Anointing upon Him?

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
