HE HATH NOTHING IN ME
Tuesday – February 11, 2020, Sh’vat 16, 5780

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to this wonderful and empowering Bible Study of the Book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and expand the reach of this gospel. Our God is so good how can one ignore such a precious gift of salvation. Listen if you are not saved, Hell is very real, very hot (worse than Texas), and goes on forever. A real destination to avoid. On the other hand, Heaven is a wonderful beyond human language to describe place to live. A place we can live forever and never be bored and the wonder of life there will unfold and in it we will participate forever. An amazing place. We hope that you are enjoying the break from the winter pictures to the beautiful fall pictures this week. Now, let’s dive into our Bible Study by first reading aloud our primary Bible text.
John 14:29-31 (KJV)
29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
Some of you may wonder why I always give the instruction to read our Bible text aloud. Faith does not come by thinking, it comes by hearing. Faith in God only comes by hearing and our real spiritual hearing is enhanced the more we hear the Anointed Word of God. We read the Word of God, our text for example, with faith that we will indeed hear in our soul and spirit. Upon hearing the Word of God will we choose to receive, believe it, and displace anything in our thinking that opposes that Word of God? What is stored in our thoughts is life and death, it is blessing or curse. There is absolutely nothing more important than hearing the Word of God, receiving it, believing it, and acting upon it. Nothing!!!! We are in the image and likeness of God, we are His dear children, there is nothing more natural to the born-again believer than the Word of God. The devils on the other hand want to lie and convince us that it is foolish, it is ok to believe and go to Heaven but the other stuff, just not for you. The “other stuff” is doing the things Jesus did and the greater things. The “other stuff” is the abundance of the Kingdom both for now and hereafter and zero curse. Jesus commanded us to do what He did and the greater things. Failure to follow any command will be discussed at the Judgment Seat of Christ; we will answer for our slackness.
The Devil had nothing in Jesus for He was not slack in walking with God. He did not walk the earth as God but as man and He did it with excellence. What is our inadequate excuse? Could it be that our slackness is keeping us out of the fulness of God’s provision? The answer to that question dear ones is a thousand times “yes”. We have been deceived of the devil principally right in Church. We have been given a steady diet of the traditions of men and the doctrine of devils. These teachers, preachers, and so on were sincere for the most part, but deceived themselves. It is impossible to please God without faith, faith in Him and in His fulness as God (the I Am), and without being diligent in our pursuit of God.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
We know that Jesus pleased the Father not because He was God in the earth, but for the very same reasons that we can always please God, faith! Looking back to verse thirty of our text we see Jesus saying that “the prince of this world” was coming but had nothing in Him. What does that mean? It means there was no sin in Jesus, He was a man that sinned not (we can do likewise if we will believe it and choose to do it), there was no hook for the devil to get ahold of in Jesus. Let’s look at this verse in a couple of other translations and then move into verse thirty-one in closing.
John 14:30 (PassionNTPsa)
30 I won’t speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this dark world is coming. But he has no power over me, for he has nothing to use against me.
John 14:30 (AMP)
30 I will not talk with you much more, for the prince (evil genius, ruler) of the world is coming. And he has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]
How much power have we given the devil over us? What does he have to use against us? Does he have any claim on us? I suspect we all would like to think that the devil has no power over us, nothing to us against us, and no claim on us, but is that true? Let’s think upon this as we consider the following verse in the context of the teachings for several weeks now.
John 14:31 (KJV)
31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
So, we all get the right answer the key is in the words love and commandments.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
