AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF
Greetings to all the precious saints and those who are not yet saints, and welcome back to this powerful (if received, believed, and acted upon) Bible Study of the Book of John. Those who are not yet saints are those who are not born again, don’t know Jesus as Lord and risen Savior. The picture today is of Donna and me in E. Boothbay, Maine in the Ocean Point Inn area in early May. Dear saints of God, sons of God, we are not to live impoverished, disease laden, and frustrating lives, but lives of abundance in our resources, health, and mental environment. This happens only if we receive, believe, confess, and walk out the Word of God as written in context. We must have faith, believe the Word of God, to please God (Hebrews 11:6), we must be led of love otherwise it is trash in the eyes of God, and we must be led of the Holy Spirit. Faith without works is dead. The exercise of faith without love (agape) is sin. Remember love (agape) is obedience to the Word of God, it is selflessness, and love (agape) honors Blood Covenant.

2 I may have the gift of prophecy, I may fathom all mysteries, know all things, have all faith — enough to move mountains; but if I lack love, I am nothing.
James 2:20 (KJV)
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
I can’t speak for you but I don’t want to get to the Judgment Seat of Christ and be called a vain (unsuccessful) man. I don’t want Jesus to say; “David you did not live and act in love therefore these things gather no reward”. I want to stand before my Savior beaming and see Him beaming back at me. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and read it out loud, yes, out loud.
John 16:12-16 (KJV)
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.
We have talked about the Spirit of Truth, He is the Holy Spirit, and He will and does lead us into all truth. At its core the Truth is the Word of God and love. Doing the Word of God is love. Notice our text in verse thirteen says that the Spirit of Truth “will guide you into all truth”. This word guide means to show the way and/or act as a conductor (like of an orchestra). What are we doing with the Truth He (Spirit of Truth) has guided us into? Notice He is not learning the Truth He guides us to, He is not building faith in the Truth He has guided us too, He is not listening for opportunities to do the Truth, and He is not doing the Truth He has guided us too, that is all our responsibility. When will we quit being slack, quit walking in unbelief, and quit walking in fables? However, when we do our part, the Holy Spirit (Spirit of Truth) will confirm the Word with signs following. Wow, just like Jesus! Just like Jesus told us to do. Do you suppose that if we preached what Jesus preached (Kingdom of God and repentance) we would get the results Jesus got? Consider the following Scriptures.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mark 1:15 (KJV)
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
The Kingdom of God is no longer at hand but is come! Do you suppose the Kingdom of God is full of the curse or full of the Blessing? Verse fourteen of our text lets us know that the Spirit of Truth is going to point us to Jesus, the Word, and to the goodness (glorify) of God in Jesus the Christ. Jesus came to return the will of God to the earth like in Heaven, days in the earth like days in Heaven.
Matthew 6:10 (KJV)
10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Deuteronomy 11:21-22 (KJV)
21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
22 For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
Do we believe any of this? Looking at most Christians, the Church at large, there is no evidence this is being preached, received, believed, and acted upon by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit. How long will we be slack dear ones?
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
