GIFTS – PART THIRTY-SIX
SALVATION
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, friends and partners of this Ministry. Also, welcome back to this Friday series titled “Gifts”, I am now on week thirty-six and the subtitle is “Salvation”. Where ever you are reading this please take a few moments and share these teachings as widely as possible. God is good dear ones, He is nothing but good, He is never ever our problem, let other people know the wonderful news. You may have noticed the phrase “AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH” has been added to the header and as you finish the study you will notice the addition of 2 Chronicles 20:20 the b portion of the verse. I believe the Lord has quickened me to add these and they will be a standard part of The Three Minute Word. The Lord gave me the phrase “Awake, Arise, and Triumph” many years ago now and I wrote two books with those words as the main title. The Church as a whole was sound asleep then and have not awakened, slumbering on, quite oblivious to the Truth. Nothing demonstrates this fact more than the Churches response to this Pandemic. We have witnessed rebellion against the Word of God and Civil authority. There may be differing opinions but there is only one Truth. I am not in the opinion business but the Truth business led of the Holy Spirit of God and the Truth (the Word of God). Oh my, it is embarrassing.
Now, the good news. There is a remnant arising which will bring the largest awakening to the world ever seen to this day. God will have a people, will you, will I choose to be in that number. The organized, traditional, Church will not awaken just as they did not awaken when Jesus walked the earth. These are like the “five foolish virgins”. The “Awake” part of this phrase has to do with awakening to our sin. The “Arise” part of this phrase has to do with us arising once we have awakened to our sin, repented, and are tearing down those high places (thoughts, words, and ways that we exalted above the thoughts, words, and ways of God). Once we have done these things we can truly walk in triumph, the “Triumph” part of the phrase.
For several weeks, several months, I laid the foundation necessary for God to bring salvation to mankind. As you know, at least I hope you know, He does not just do what He wants, when He wants, He must work through mankind to not violate His own law. Some of you who don’t now know better had that thought run through your mind, “well God is sovereign you know” “He can do what He wants when He wants”. Is that Scriptural? No, it is not! Please don’t stiffen your neck and harden your heart, honestly seek the Lord to illuminate the Truth. Now, let’s get back to our topic of Salvation, the entry gift received by faith. Salvation is the entry and necessary gift for all of the others.
Romans 6:23 (KJV)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
A true gift given in love (agape) is not earned and in the case of salvation could not be earned.
1 Peter 1:18-20 (KJV)
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Corruptible things purchase corruptible things like we do every day in the market places of this natural life. Incorruption purchased incorruption for man, you and me. Man was not corrupted (mortal and dying) before sin. There are not enough corrupted assets to purchase incorruption or eternal life. Jesus purchased never ending life as God knows life. God has zero lack in any area and the same is to be true of us. The Word, Jesus, became a flesh and blood man like Adam before the fall, and did not fall, was sinless, therefore His life could restore all of mankind to life, eternal life if they so choose.
1 Corinthians 15:45 (KJV)
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Jesus was the last Adam; we dear ones are not like Adam. Adam did not have a safety net and neither did Jesus, but praise the Lord we do and His name is Jesus, in fact we share that name! Please meditate the following passage on our great salvation and never stop the giving of thanks.
Ephesians 2:4-9 (KJV)
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (Bold added)
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The trigger, our responsibility, to bring the quickening to eternal life, to salvation is found in Romans, let’s turn over there as we finish for today.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 3:36 (KJV)
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
Yes, Jesus you are my Lord and I believe that God, the Father, has raised you from the dead. I have believed unto righteousness, right standing with God, and I am saved.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
