LIFE IN HEAVEN – PART THIRTY-SEVEN
Sunday – January 6, 2019, Tevet 29, 5779

TIME FRAME SIX
THE CATCHING AWAY TO THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST
I wish each and every one of you a very Happy New Year! In this new year, 2019, this publication will be on Sundays rather than on Saturday as in 2018. This will be a year of surprises, so let us be diligent as we go about the business of the Kingdom of God. The following verse although very familiar I suspect to all reading has been heightened by the Lord in my thinking the last few months.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Interestingly enough the number thirty-three (33) is a Bible number for promise, a promise of God. Number six (6) is the number of man and Matthew being the first Book of the New Testament represents one (1), one with God. When we are one with God, aligning ourselves with Him and are about kingdom business walking in His righteousness which is become our righteousness He promises without fail to take care of the things of this life. The key is to focus on the Kingdom and a righteous lifestyle. Okay, now let us dive back into our study of “Life in Heaven”. As you know we are in the sixth time-frame of eight which the Lord gave me to organize this study. I don’t know about you but I find this a very fascinating subject to contemplate. The eight time-frames are the following.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
There is a lot going on during this sixth period of time, which is generally accepted to be a seven-year period, both in the earth and in Heaven. On earth there will be what is called the Tribulation or Jacobs’s trouble. During the seven-year Tribulation period the wrath of God and the Lamb will be poured out on the earth. It might be more useful to think of this as a time of judgment and the meting out of justice. The persons left in the earth following the catching away of the saints will know and say this is the wrath of God and the wrath of the Lamb yet for the most part they do not repent, they hid. Go figure. Repentance (word of their testimony) and the Blood of the Lamb is available to them just as it is unto us today. God is merciful and forgiving with people who are truly repentant and as the old song goes, the Blood has never lost its power.
Revelation 6:15-17 (KJV)
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
The Devil and his minions will be unrestrained and evil will rule especially in the second half of the Tribulation which is called the Great Tribulation. There will be great evil and death in the earth as the Antichrist’s evil forces reign. Simultaneous with that will be God’s final judgment of Israel. Many antichrist(s) are at work today among us but are restrained due to the Church.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 (KJV)
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The One who letteth is likely Holy Spirit who is here for the benefit of the Church but does play a role in the conviction of the unsaved with regard to sin, righteousness, and judgment. As we saw in the Revelation chapter six reference above the people were not convicted of sin to repentance but where in fear of the present and certain judgment. It is as if they understood it was what was deserved and more. One would think they would rush to repentance throwing themselves on the mercy of God but they do not. However, there are those that know and from that basis (knowledge) do repent, many if not all are killed for their confession of Christ as Lord but they are saved. That is not the way to go, repent now and go in the Rapture, but if you find yourself in that situation repent, be killed which is but for a moment and spend eternity in the Kingdom of God. Now, let’s look at the 2 Thessalonians verse in The Living Bible for increased clarity.
2 Thessalonians 2:7 (TLB)
7 As for the work this man of rebellion and hell will do when he comes, it is already going on, but he himself will not come until the one who is holding him back steps out of the way.
When the Church is Raptured or Caught Away to Heaven there will be no restraint on the antichrist or his minions (fallen angels). The Raptured or Caught Away Church arrives in Heaven as whole persons which is to say spirit, soul, and glorified body. The judgment of Israel occurs for her rejection of the Messiah, and for parting her own land (Israel will agree to a two-state solution). This Tribulation period is described in some detail in the Book of Revelation chapters four through nineteen. Lord willing, I will pick up here with our study of “Life in Heaven” next Saturday.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
