TIME FRAME SEVEN
THE ONE THOUSAND YEAR REIGN OF CHRIST
Greetings dear and precious brothers and sister in Christ and welcome back to this fascinating study of “Life in Heaven”. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “like” and “share” buttons to expand the reach of this ministry in cyberspace. As I mention from time to time, these teaching unlike most are not necessarily linked to a specific Bible verse or passage. However, I do not believe there has been anything presented that is not consistent with the full counsel of Scripture. I would have to say this series has been fun to write and seems to bring excitement to the imaginations of the readers. Ladies and gentlemen, contrary to popular belief, God is hiding absolutely nothing from those who love Him. We are in the seventh of eight time-frames the Lord has given me to teach on this subject. As we move forward let’s review the eight time-frames.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
As we have discussed in the transition from the sixth to the seventh time-frame was the war in the valley of Jehoshaphat called Armageddon which ends the Tribulation period and initiates the one-thousand-year rule of Jesus over the earth. It appears that The Marriage Supper of the Lamb occurs just before this great battle. The Bema or Judgement Seat of Christ may not occur during this time frame since it appears people may be saved during the one-thousand-year reign of Jesus and not take part in the final rebellion right at this end of this time period. So, the Judgment Seat of Christ and the White Throne Judgement may be at the end of the seventh time-frame in sequence and Jesus is the judge at both. At the end of the seventh time-frame Satan is loosed (after being bound for 1000 years) and again deceives mankind. This is really no different than the Garden of Eden at the creation of man. There is another great and final war at the end of the one-thousand-year reign of Christ associated with Gog and the land of Magog. This is prophesied in Ezekiel.
Ezekiel 38:2 (KJV)
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,
Ezekiel 38:10-11 (KJV)
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
The land in question here is Israel and because it is near the end of the one-thousand-year reign of Christ in the earth and King David in Jerusalem and Israel there are no armies or other defenses.
Revelation 20:7-10 (KJV)
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
One might wonder, why on earth was Satan loosed from his prison? The peoples on the earth after the Tribulation and the war of Armageddon had been at peace and without a deceiver for one thousand years. I do want to take a moment to point out that rebellion (sin) does not require a deceiver. Who deceived Lucifer? Short answer, Lucifer just as we do to ourselves. Please take note of the following passage which describes rebellion in the 1000 year reign of Jesus.
Zechariah 14:16-19 (KJV)
16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
True love (agape) cannot exist in the absence of choice which is why Satan was loosed one last time in the earth. A Blood Covenant, agape (love) is only as strong as the test it can withstand. This is true for our covenant friendships, our marriages, and our relationship with God. The love of those who believed on Jesus during the one-thousand-year reign of Christ had to be tested and as you can see many if not most failed the test. Let us determine in our hearts that we will love the Lord our God and no other god(s).
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
