TIME FRAME EIGHT
ETERNITY FUTURE
Greetings my precious brothers and sisters in Christ and welcome back to this fascinating and informative study of “Life in Heaven”. We have completed seven of the eight time-frames the Lord gave me to write about, so we will now enter time-frame eight. Time-frame eight has to do with eternity future and one might say we just don’t know about that and whatever might be written is pure speculation. Really? How would you square that kind of thinking with this verse?
1 Corinthians 2:16 (KJV)
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (Bold added by Dr. Wood)
Just exactly what is unknowable with the mind of Christ? If you are struggling with some theological mumbo jumbo let me help you out, the short answer is ‘nothing’. Sure, the details may reflect a degree of speculation but not the broad themes. Our God is not secretive and we have access to Him through the Word of God and we can talk to Him about anything and He will talk to us about anything. Let me repeat, we can talk to Him about anything. What is left out of anything? Nothing is left out! We have the mind of Christ! This means we have access to any information that the Anointed One has access to, that the Anointing has access to and just what do we think is hidden from Jesus or the Holy Spirit? Why do we have that access? Is it so we can weep and cry on the floor begging for what is already given and part of our Covenant, the will of God, or is it so we can decree, command, or instruct? Read, it again, we are to give the Lord instructions according to His will, according to the Covenant. Why? He gave us authority, dominion in the earth, it is illegal for Him to move independent of a man. Okay, let’s all take deep breaths and get settled down. As I move forward let’s review the eight time-frames.
- Eternity before Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:1 to 1:2 (may have been billions of years)
- Genesis 1:3 to Genesis 3:6 the Day of Sin and Death
- Genesis 3:6 to Jesus putting His Blood on the Mercy Seat
- Resurrection to the Rapture
- Rapture or Catching Away to the Second Coming
- One Thousand Year Reign
- Eternity Future
There is a time coming when Jesus yields up the Church to the Father and it seems to be at the final putting away of Satan.
1 Corinthians 15:23-25 (KJV)
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.
This passage would seem to be pointing to the very end of time, the end of the one-thousand-year reign of Christ Jesus in the earth and the final defeat of Satan and the disposition of all wicked leaving only the redeemed. Next, we find eternity future starting with God totally eliminating the curse, casting all wickedness and wicked in the Lake of Fire for eternity. He cleanses all things with fire (Holy Spirit) and once again starts with a pure creation like Genesis 1:1. The difference this time is that Satan is not coming back, period! Let’s start to take a look at this time period and I will finish up this series over the several weeks. Now, lets read about this new heaven and earth.
Revelation 21:1-6 (KJV)
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
What a spectacular time and we will be first hand witnesses of all of this and much more. I will pick up here Lord willing next Sunday and we will review this passage in some depth.
Until our next publication, confess the following passage and walk before Whom we have to do with great rejoicing and thanksgiving. This physical body is our humiliation but soon it will be no more for the glory of God and our eternal benefit.
John 14:1-4 (KJV)
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
