LIFE IN PLACE OF DEATH
Thursday – July 18, 2019, Tamuz 15, 5779

Greetings precious brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus and welcome back to this insightful and powerful Bible Study of the Book of John. Our God, the only Living God, is so good to us, giving us explicit insights into the Kingdom of God of which we are citizens on assignment in the earth. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and share these teaching with your friends with the “share” button or even “tag” your friends making it more certain they will see this and perhaps value it enough to read. There is nothing more powerful or valuable than the Word of God, period. The featured pictures this week will be of various scenes here in Maine. Todays picture is of Samoset Resort in Rockport where I recently attended Medical Continuing Medical Education. Tomorrows picture will feature yours truly and his newly minted bride. Now, let’s delve into our Bible Study by first reading our primary Bible text.
John 11:25-29 (KJV)
25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master is come, and calleth for thee.
29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.
Isn’t the Word of God just wonderful! God has given a roadmap for successful living in the Kingdom of God. That roadmap (God’s roadmap) is not paved with poverty and sickness. The roadmap, the instructions, are for nothing but abundance. If there is not abundance in our finances and health we are not following the roadmap. That is not to say temptation will not come, it certainly will, when we succumb, we will have poverty of some sort, and a door is opened for poor physical (and spiritual) health. When we open the door, the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. A failure to diligently study and to do the Word of God will bring stealing, killing, and destroying into our lives. This failure is sin once we know we are to study. In fact, a failure to diligently study, a failure to do the Word of God, or both is sin.
Yesterday I left off talking about verse twenty-five from our primary Bible text. Prior to the Cross and Resurrection of Christ Jesus there was no hope of a resurrection nor hope of eternal life. What a difference three days makes. The resurrection makes possible a restoration of our physical bodies to an incorruptible body like our Lord’s.
Philippians 3:21 (KJV)
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Our physical body will be like, exactly like, the one Jesus now has, just like the one Adam had in the creation. This is the final jubilee when all things are made right, returned to original intent of God. These new physical bodies like Adam’s and like Jesus’ now are designed for eternity and we will eat of the physical fruit of Heaven (and earth) the tree of life. The Old Testament saints were preserved in the Bosom of Abraham until the Resurrection of Christ Jesus when He led captivity captive to Heaven where He presented His very own blood at the Mercy Seat as a testimony forever before the Father. This resurrection is the first wave of the First Resurrection. The First Resurrection is for those in Covenant with God. The second wave of the First Resurrection is the Catching Away of the saints, you and me. The third wave of the First Resurrection is of the saints who die for the cause of Christ during the Tribulation period. The Second Resurrection is when the lost of all time are brought to the White Throne Judgment to adjudicate final eternal justice.
Since the fall of Adam, all peoples are born spiritually dead. During the Old Testament era there was a covering or an Atonement for sin by the sacrifice of innocent animals. With the advent of Christ Jesus sin was expunged and the only thing that keeps one from Heaven is not accepting the sacrifice of the Cross and not accepting and proclaiming Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior in place of Satan. When we do, we are instantly translated from one kingdom to the other.
Colossians 1:12-14 (KJV)
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
We were spiritually dead and on our way to Hell forever, now we are alive spiritually with Heaven as our eternal home. That is not to say that we will not travel in eternity much as we do here in the earth. The full meaning of living in our text is to have life as God, our Heavenly Father has life. He has no poverty of any sort and absolutely no curse (sickness or disease) in God or Heaven.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
