LOVE IS DILIGENCE IN THE WORD AND DOING THE WORD
Thursday – January 9, 2020, Tevet 12, 5780

Greetings dear and wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry and blog. Welcome back to this course correcting Bible Study of the Book of John. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to encourage us and expand the reach of these teachings. The featured picture today is a selfie taken at Cornerstone Church on the Night to Honor Israel in October 2019. If you live in the San Antonio area and you have never been to one of these, I would highly recommend it. I strongly encourage all Christians to support Israel without reservation. That is another whole teachings but there is great blessing from God in blessing Israel and great curse in cursing Israel (Genesis 12:1-3). Believe me dear ones there is no middle ground or neutral ground. Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text reading it aloud.
John 14:21-23 (KJV)
21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
Yep, still talking about love equaling obedience to the Word of God, not what we think the Word of God says. Love brings the supernatural manifestation of God, who is love, into our lives. As I have been writing about for weeks now, this principle is all through the Bible. Everyone is looking for the manifestation of God in their lives and don’t know why it is absent, could this be a key? Unfortunately, when something is not working according to expectation it can lead to the development of even more traditions of men or doctrines of devils. For example, one might believe it is the will of God for people to be financially poor or that the purpose of sickness is for God to work something out in their lives. Perhaps, one might say, “his ways are higher than ours, we don’t understand it, but we will in the bye and bye”. How much of that do we believe is the Truth. Zero is the right answer. The Truth and the Truth alone makes us free. Free from bondages of all kinds like poverty and sickness, period. Take a look at the following familiar verse.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
Notice that God is talking to His people. He is saying they are destroyed due to a lack of knowledge. It turns out as we read on that not only are they not seeking knowledge but are rejecting knowledge. The outcome is that they do not have standing as a priest before God. Having standing as a priest is crucial not only for ourselves but for others in our lives like our very own children. His people are not only rejecting knowledge, light, but they are forgetting the laws of God, primary of which is to walk after love. Love is getting, keeping, and obeying the commandments (Word of God). Do we really understand that our laziness, our slackness, towards the Word of God puts our very own children in the balance? Let’s take a look at one more passage before we quit for today.
Psalm 112:1-3 (KJV)
1 Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.
2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
Does it look to you like it is worthwhile to declare who our God is (praise), to put Him in the highest place, and to do His commandments? Notice we must choose to fear the Lord and delight in His commandments, He does not make us. Putting the Word in the highest place and being obedient brings the manifestation of God. The children were blessed and this man had wealth and riches in his house. Look at verse one in The Living Bible.
Psalm 112:1 (TLB)
1 Praise the Lord! For all who fear God and trust in him are blessed beyond expression. Yes, happy is the man who delights in doing his commands.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week on Monday. I think the Lord will allow me to move forward after that.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
