STICKING WITH THE COMFORTER
Wednesday – December 11, 2019, Kislev 13, 5780

Greetings dear friend and partners of this powerful ministry of God through us. As this year comes to an end, lets each of us examine the fruit of the year. Was it profitable for me, my family, and the Kingdom of God or did we suffer losses? I don’t know about you but there have been times over the last two years when I thought for a short while that the enemy had me by the throat and I was going down for the count. What about you? However, every time without fail my Lord (our Lord) showed me the way of victory and brought me out with a mighty Hand. He always gave me exactly what was needed to take the victory, to come up, and to come ahead. Our God is so good dear saints! If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons. The pictures this week are of various scenes, and todays like Monday and Tuesday is of the coast of Maine. As I mentioned yesterday, I robbed this from one of my sister-in-law. Now let’s turn our attention to our Bible Study of the Book of John and read our primary Bible text aloud.
John 14:15-16 (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
The presence or more accurately the manifested presence of the Comforter (Holy Spirit) is tied inseparably with love (agape) and obedience to the commandments of God. You have read in the Scriptures and in these teachings from those Scriptures that Jesus only said what the Father said, only did what He saw the Father doing, and the Father did the works. Jesus did not do the works; the Father did the works. It works exactly the same way today for each of us. Jesus was and is the supreme example of an obedient Son, even to death on the Cross. Just as in the creation of all things, the Power of God (Holy Spirit) is the One doing the works, whether it be creating a planet or healing a sick person. This is directly related to what we already studied in John 14:21, the manifestation of Jesus and the Father to the one who has and keeps the commandments. I am now going to take us on one more side trip to demonstrate the enormous importance of walking in love keeping the commandments. Be reminded that we are God’s kings and priests in the earth and both are vital roles in our personal lives, our families, and the Kingdom of God.
Revelation 1:6 (KJV)
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
I trust you can see that you and I are already kings and priests in the Kingdom of God, in the earth, whether we feel like it or not. Before I present the next Scripture remember I am still talking about love and keeping the commandments and having the Holy Spirit (Comforter) abide with us implying that He is an active member of our mission or house. First let look at our function as priest in the context of love and obedience to the Word of God (commandments).
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
In order to keep commandments, we have to have them (John 14:21). Having and keeping (doing) is love (agape). This obedience, this faith, and willing compliance with the Word of God brings the manifestation of God (all goodness) into our lives. Looking at our Hosea Scripture we can see that we must greatly hunger and thirst after and consume all the Scripture we can on a daily basis. We must not reject knowledge as much of the world and even the Church do today. As a result, God’s own people are perishing, being destroyed. Perishing in poverty and sickness. This lack of knowledge due to rejecting knowledge results in us losing our priestly function. This intercession as priest in our families and in the body of Christ is critical. People in our family and the body of Christ are going to Hell or suffering greatly when we cannot pray the mercy and compassion of God into their lives. In addition, because we have forgotten God’s other children by rejecting knowledge in one way or another He rejects or forgets our children. Who can say you want God to reject you as priest before Him and to forget your children? Let’s get serious about our love and obedience dear ones!
I will pick up right here, Lord willing, tomorrow. Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
