MORE ON THE COMFORTER
Thursday – December 12, 2019, Kislev 14, 5780

Greetings dear friends and partners of this powerful ministry of God through us. The year is nearly spent. How did we spend this year? Was it profitable for us, our family, and the Kingdom of God or did we suffer loss? I don’t know about you but there have been times over the last two years when I thought briefly that the enemy had me by the throat and I was going down for the count. What about you? However, every time without fail our Lord showed me the way of victory and brought me out with a mighty Hand. He always gave me exactly what was needed to take the victory, to come up, and to come ahead. Our God is so good dear saints! If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment to hit the “love” and “share” buttons. The pictures this week are of various scenes, today is from the coast of Maine (Wells, Maine). I lifted these (she knows) from one of my sister-in-law. Now let’s turn our attention to our Bible Study of the Book of John and read our primary Bible text aloud.
John 14:15-16 (KJV)
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Yesterday I left off showing from Scripture how important obedience (faith and compliance) to the commands of God is to not just our well being but that of our family and the Kingdom of God. The stronger we and our families are the better our witness to a lost and dying world. When we are weak in our finances and health, we can become a reproach in the Kingdom of God. There is no glory to God in our poverty of any kind. It seems to me that saying God’s glory is shown or that He somehow gets glory when we are broke, sick, and dying is an abomination, a blasphemy. I pointed out yesterday that we are already kings and priests (among other roles) in the Kingdom of God so let’s continue with that vein of Truth today.
Revelation 1:6 (KJV)
6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Yesterday I presented the following Scripture which plainly tells us that in our disobedience, our rebellion, our fear, or unbelief we not only perish (destroyed) but our children with us.
Hosea 4:6 (KJV)
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
If you did not read yesterday’s teaching it will be well worth your while to go back and examine it with intense interest. You may be thinking I am not talking about the Comforter anymore but that would be incorrect. What are some of the functions of the Comforter? Among them is intercessor, consoler, advocate, and comforter. Through our prayer language (other tongues) He, the Comforter, gives us the perfect prayer of intercession to the Father. Intercession is the main function of a priest, one who stands between God and the one being interceded for. Now let’s look at the king aspect of this matter.
1 Samuel 15:22-23 (KJV)
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
I for one do not want to be rejected as a king before the Lord. A king decrees a thing and others see that it is done. In the case of the Kingdom of God this is the Holy Spirit (Comforter) and the Holy Angels, as well as obedient people led of the Spirit. In the passage above King Saul has been disobedient to the Word of God. We see here clearly that Saul’s disobedience is the same as witchcraft and rebellion. It is stubbornness, iniquity (sin), and idolatry. I don’t want to keep company with any of that. The lack of love (agape) which is defined as not keeping the commandments, the Word of God, results in our decrees falling to the ground for we are rejected as king. I for one boldly proclaim there is indeed a king in me and I rule in this earth as a king by the leadership of the Holy Spirit (Comforter).
Micah 4:9 (KJV)
9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished? for pangs have taken thee as a woman in travail.
Quit crying and boldly proclaim, decree the solution according to the leadership of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
Romans 5:17 (AMP)
17 For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive [God’s] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness [putting them into right standing with Himself] reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
We are to reign in this life as kings, exactly the way a king reigns and by the way kings are very rich. Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow. The Lord, our Lord is so good.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
