THE FATHER GLORIFIED
Monday – March 16, 2020, Adar 20, 5780

Greetings dear wonderful friends and partners of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. God is so good! We are a people blessed far beyond our current understanding. Our God is a good God who is not in the stealing, killing, and destroying present in the lives of too many Christians. Our God is not holding us back from prosperity. He has prepared prosperity for us that we don’t even dare dream about. Jesus also paid for us to have exceedingly good health. Our God is one of abundance and the Word (Jesus) came to give that abundant life, it is ours by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Do we dare believe these verses? Do we dare confess them over our lives? How long dear ones will we allow, yes, we allow even invite, the evil one, the thief to beat our brains out? How long?
The Photo’s this week are courtesy of our granddaughter, Little Moments Photography, including the Thursday picture of Donna and me on a sleigh ride. If you are reading this on Facebook please take the moment it takes to hit the “love” and “share” buttons to give us feedback and expand the reach of this good news. Ladies please be sure you have registered and have a poster for your Church, and flyers for the upcoming Women’s Conference themed “The Virtuous Woman” on the 30th of May 2020 at New Beginnings Church of God in Waterville, Maine. Now let’s turn our attention to our text in the Book of John and read it aloud.
John 15:8-12 (KJV)
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
Pleasing our Lord and our Father is not a guessing game. We have the enormous benefit of the whole Bible, our policy and procedure manual. If we are unaware of the policies of procedures of the Kingdom of God there is only one person to blame and that is ourselves. If the Word of God is not working in our lives, guess who is to blame. First clue, it is not God, second clue, it is not the devil, and third clue, it is not other people. Who is left? Oh no! It couldn’t be me; I love the Lord! Really? Let’s break verse eight of our text down for it has three parts that are interdependent. Jesus says that when we bear a lot of fruit, we are showing the goodness of our Heavenly Father. In addition, fruit bearing is an indication that we are His disciples, or followers seeking to be like Him. So, what if we are not bearing fruit? Does that mean our Father is not good? Or could it mean that we are not good sheep, disciples? I pick us, and not the Father, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit.
Fruit is that which is useful to others which is more than best wishes. The verse makes it clear that we are not a disciple of Christ Jesus if we are not bearing much (a lot) of fruit. A disciple is one striving to be exactly like the Master, the Teacher, in this case Jesus. Remember, Jesus said the things I do you shall do and even greater. Do you suppose we would have to be just like Him to do what He did?
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Matthew 10:24-25 (KJV)
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
The more we become like Jesus the more they (the world and the Church) will treat us like Jesus. They said Jesus had a devil so they will say the same about us. Notice at the end of verse twenty-five we are identified as being of the household of Jesus.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
