AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART EIGHT
Greetings dear and precious saints of God, friends, and partners of this Ministry. Please take a moment to share this teaching, Part Eight of The Greater Things, as widely as possible to expand the reach of the Truth. God is good dear ones, let us bring much needed light to others. As you know the featured picture is a universal depiction of a society in ruins, desolation. It is our responsibility to prevent this in the first place and if we were deceived and it happens (current situation), we are the worlds’ only hope. We are the owners of the earth and everything in it, we are the ones with dominion authority, and the ones with the Power of God (Blessing) to bring about real change. Why do we continue to give the devil place?
Before I move into the powerful teaching for today on “The Greater Things” I want to remind us all that perhaps the most important election of our lifetimes is less than a month away. Let me just flat out say that the choice this time and for the last several decades has not been difficult for those who put the Bible in first place, making it (the Bible) the final authority for all questions. Let’s ask ourselves, “Am I a Christian?” Let’s also ask ourselves; “Do I believe the Bible?” We also must ask ourselves; “Is there a higher authority than the Bible?” The right answers are yes, yes, and no. If those are your answers the Biden/Harris ticket is not your choice pure and simple. The Democrat ticket, their party platform, is antithetical (hostile) to the Bible.
Now, let’s shift our attention to one of our foundational texts and launch into our Study.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
This text tells us that believers are to be doing the works that Jesus did, not just some super-duper Christian from another city. Am I a believer? Are you a believer? Let’s not be too quick to answer. Are we not doing the works of Jesus because we were ignorant of the fact, we were supposed to be doing these things, or do we just plain not believe?
Let us think for a moment about what is going on in the Church or Religious world. There are those who look to draw people to their denomination and focus on living “better” lives. There are those who want to add to their denomination, teach people to live more Biblical lives, and evangelize getting people saved. As important as it is to get people saved it is only a part of the works of Jesus. In other religious circles we see the forgoing as well as demonstrations of the Holy Spirit. Perhaps people are talking in tongues, perhaps there is a manifestation of tongues and interpretation, perhaps a prophecy gift, or perhaps a Prophet speaks. Perhaps people are being slain (falling out) in the Holy Spirit. As wonderful as all of this is, with the exception of the evangelism, none of it reflects the works Jesus did nor the greater works. None of those things will facilitate the return of Christ.
Now, let’s shift gears to our other primary Bible text as I continue this study.
Isaiah 61:1-2 (KJV)
1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
The preceding passage is Messianic and was read by Jesus in the Synagogue (all of verse one, first half verse two) when He returned from the wilderness temptation. This does not just apply to Jesus in His earthly Ministry but to every believer filled with the Holy Spirit. He was the first, the example for all to follow, and each of us follow in our time led of the Holy Spirit. This has been possible for every born-again Spirit Baptized person from the Day of Pentecost in Acts chapter two. The reason Jesus only read the first half of verse two is that the remainder of that verse and the chapter were not His ministry. In fact, could not be His ministry or anyone else’s until the price of sin was paid, the curse and death were defeated, and all authority (dominion in the earth) and Power (the Blessing) were returned to mankind (believers). Praise the Lord it is finished! Lord willing, I will pick up right here next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
