THE WASHED, SANCTIFIED, AND JUSTIFIED

Greetings to all reading this blog and welcome to this teaching Ministry and online Church. The Lord is good dear ones. I have been teaching about The Kingdom of God for some time; this is lesson number one-hundred twenty-eight. Teaching and demonstrating the Kingdom of God and His way of doing was by far the main thrust of Jesus earthly Ministry and is to continue through us. Now, let’s review our anchor Scripture and then move into our teaching Scripture for today.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
As I have pointed out several times this is not a suggestion like something nice to do, it is a command. Of course, as freewill beings we choose whether to do it or not and how much to do. God will back up any and all choices we chose. If you have any interest in pleasing your Heavenly Father, in pleasing your Savior, I suggest you do it with all of your heart. The Lord will guide you and me by His Spirit into all the Truth and then help us walk in it. As we walk in it, we receive the rewards of righteousness which believe me are far better than the rewards of unrighteousness. The rewards of righteousness are all of the good things of the Kingdom of God. There are no bad things in the Kingdom of God. The rewards of unrighteous living is the stealing, killing, and destroying that comes by the hand of the evil ones, never the Hand of God. We, and we alone, are the ones that open the door, the access for the thief.
Now, let’s move forward into today’s teaching passage.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 (KJV)
9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
From time to time, we hear this terrible demonic idea that somehow everyone is going to Heaven. That is absolutely false and this passage, among many others, make that abundantly clear. In some ways it is an attractive idea until you realize that it makes the Blood of Jesus of no value. It makes the work of Calvary and what followed with the stripping of Satan, the preaching of the gospel in the Bosom of Abraham and escorting the Old Testament saints to Heaven of no value.
It seems from Scripture that most people on the planet will chose Hell over Heaven, the very transient pleasures of this life for eternal life and the eternal pleasures of the Kingdom. From the outside looking at the modern Church people see no benefit to salvation. Why is that? The Church is riddled with traditions of men, doctrines of demons, and sacred cows. Those in the Church live much like the heathen just with a religious flare. That is to say, Christians experience and struggle with the same financial issues, the same health issues, and stealing, killing, and destroying in the other arenas of live as do the heathen. The benefits of the Kingdom of God are not to suffer with a good attitude.
Let’s be sure we are described in verse eleven of our teaching text. We are washed and made clean by the Word of God, set apart for the Masters use in the Kingdom of God as loyal and faithful sons. We are made righteous, justified, by the Blood and name of Jesus all facilitated by the Holy Spirit of God. Thank you, Father, for the sacrifice of Christ at Calvary and in Hell and thank you for abundant Grace.
TAKE HOME:
- Unrighteous people are not going to Heaven.
- Is the Kingdom of God and God’s way of doing things in the forefront of our minds 24/7?
- Are you washed by the Word, set apart for the Masters use, and justified by the name of Jesus and Grace of God?
