JUDGEMENT DAY IS AT HAND

Greetings to one and all and welcome to our study of The Kingdom of God. Today is the final teaching under this title. Explaining and demonstrating The Kingdom of God/Heaven was a predominating theme of Jesus Earthly Ministry. He has gone to Heaven, to the right hand of the Father and has commanded us to do as He did.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Let’s go to our primary Scripture for this study then we will expand from there.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
For perhaps a little more clarity let’s take a look at this verse in The Living Bible.
Matthew 6:33 (TLB)
33 and he will give them to you if you give him first place in your life and live as he wants you to.
Each of us must ask ourselves, is He first place in my life and am I living as He wants me to, according to Scripture? These are serious questions. We also must ask ourselves if we trust Him to add the natural things of our lives to us when we put Him first and not our job or some other source of income and when we live according to Scripture. When we put our trust and hope in man first the curse is our lot, when we put our trust and hope in God first the Blessing is our lot (Jeremiah 17:5-9).
As we examine ourselves and look around, we must ask ourselves if the Kingdom of God is in the forefront of teaching and demonstration. Are the children of God experiencing Heaven upon the earth as a Covenant right and a testimony for other believers and the world? Unfortunately, the Church, by choice, is in pitiful condition having developed a multitude of false teachings to explain away the absence of the supernatural and how we are accumulating treasure in Heaven and all is for over there (Heaven) not here. That is not what the Bible teaches, nor did Jesus teach those lies.
We are now the anointed ones in the earth if you have been filled with the Holy Spirit and Power. We now are to walk as Jesus walked, taught, and functioned.
Acts 10:38 (ESV)
38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.
Put your name in place of Jesus, you are also now a son of God, and Jesus said we were to do as He did and greater works (John 14:12). This should be commonplace and not rare. We are also charged with changing the world around us occupying every mountain of influence.
Luke 19:13 (KJV)
13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
We are not at war, Jesus won the war 2000 years ago, we are to occupy what He stripped the devil of. We are well equipped; we have all the resources of Heaven and earth! The gates of Hell cannot in any way withstand a Church (believer) which understands who they are and whose they are and their authority.
Matthew 16:18-19 (KJV)
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
As I end this teaching let’s consider the following passage. Can this be said of you, or me?
Isaiah 60:1-3 (ESV)
1 Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you.
3 And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
Have you chosen to arise, have you chosen to believe and do? Are you living different from you neighbors or about the same just with a Christian flare. Are you a problem solver or are you the problem? Are you and those around you bringing change, Heaven on the earth, to the society around you?
Isaiah 61:4 (ESV)
4 They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.
What shall we say on Judgement Day?
TAKE HOME:
- We must always be mindful that we are Kingdom of God sons and operate accordingly changing our lives and being a beacon for others.
- We are responsible for bringing Heaven into the earth not only for ourselves but showing others the way as well.
- We are to occupy the gates our spiritual enemies now illegally occupy.
Lord willing, I will have fresh revelation from the Throne next Saturday. Remember, we love you, the Lord loves you, and there is nothing you can do about either one.
