AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE PLACE OF SAFETY – PART SEVENTEEN
Greetings dear and precious saints of the only living God. I trust and pray that the Position Paper on COVID-19 last week was informative. This is not just my position but that of Eastern Gate Ministries International, Inc. Welcome back to this Saturday series which at the moment is dealing with “The Place of Safety”. Please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to bring as many as possible to the Truth.
2 Timothy 2:25-26 (KJV)
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Many are opposing themselves caught up in the deceptions of the devil(s) regarding COVID-19. This virus has been an exceptionally effective tool of the devil. One Prophet called this virus the Goliath of our time. I would say it is ‘a’ Goliath not ‘the’ Goliath of our time. Dear ones know with a certainty that David’s are arising, they are the Rising Remnant. Will you be a David of our time, will you accept the Mantle of Anointing and set all of our enemies at naught?
I would be surprised to find someone who did not want to dwell in the place of safety. I put ‘the’ instead of ‘a’ because there is only one place of safety that is certain and unassailable. That place is in the Lord Jesus Christ. Safety from physical harm or other harms like financial and disease is not automatic with receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior. Neither does being baptized in the Holy Spirit and Power confer automatic protection. This is a self-evident fact. Why do bad things happen to good people? Whether we like to hear it or not, sin is always the permission port. What opened the door to the curse starting with the very first sin of mankind in the Garden of Eden? It was sin! Sin in our lives can bring disaster even physical death into our lives. Sometimes, many times that sin is just not paying attention to the Holy Spirit, the still small voice within each Christian. Other times it is unrepented known sin or even sins of ignorance. Sins of ignorance have consequences when there is no effort on our part to judge ourselves and study to rightly divide the Word of Truth. These things open the door for the thief to steal, kill, and destroy. We are freewill creations of God in the god class of being. Let’s look at a familiar scenario of bad things happening to good people.
Luke 13:1-5 (KJV)
1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
Are we clear, there was unrepented sin and except we judge ourselves and repent similar things can happen to us? Now back to our being freewill creations. Who chooses if there is death or life in our lives? We do dear ones!
Deuteronomy 30:19 (NLT)
19 “Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! (Bold added)
20 You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the LORD, you will live long in the land the LORD swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
Who is making our choices? We are! What is the key to life? Loving, obeying, and committing ourselves to God.
Psalm 37:23 (KJV)
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
Are we a good man or an evil man? Yes, Christians can be evil. Anything contrary to the Word of God in our thoughts and mouth is evil, corrupt communication. Are we allowing the Lord to order our steps or are we doing it for Him? Are we delighting in His way or our own? Let us not ask the Lord to order our steps and then ignore Scripture and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. And don’t overlook the word ‘delighting’. The Lord looks at the heart, you can’t fake delight with Him, perhaps with me Sunday morning but not Him.
Lord willing, I will pick up with this study next Saturday. We love you and the Lord loves you and there is nothing you can do about it.
2 Chronicles 20:20b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as a Bible Teacher and Prophetic Voice I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus name! Quit asking God to bless you, you are already blessed, you have the Blessing, give Him something to do by the words of your mouth. Once you know the will of God, decree the thing (Job 22:28, Isaiah 45:11, Mark 11:23). (The Blessing is the Holy Spirit) We have left God way to long with nothing to do in our lives.
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
