MINISTRY ANOINTING – MINISTRY ASSIGNMENTS
Video link: https://youtu.be/t7SJIvltnw4
Greeting dear and precious saints of God, the Lord is so very good. The featured picture is of me ministering at a ministry assignment last year. Over the last couple of months, the Lord has been dealing with me about explaining to the followers and partners of this Ministry the Scriptures listed at the beginning of each written blog. This will be a multipart teaching – discussion with today being part three.
These are Scriptures that define my Ministry Anointing and Assignments and those of Awake, Arise, and Triumph Ministries. Last Sunday I discussed the Isaiah chapter 61 passage and this week I will deal with the passage from Jeremiah. This is not a teaching of this text per se but a look at this text as it relates to this Ministry. As I have the past two weeks, I will intersperse comments as we make our way down through the text.
Over the years it has seemed to me that many if not all of the ministries I have observed were incomplete. By that I mean that they had a particular focus. They were either evangelistic, healing, prophetic, or ministered to the physical needs with limited ministry to the spiritual needs of the people. I am sure you can identify with this observation. In view of the revelation given the Apostle Paul likening each individuals function as a human body part we would not expect to find it all in one person but what about one Ministry or Fellowship (local Church)? What about Jesus and the command that we do as He did (John 14:12 and Acts 10:38). It seems that Jesus not only ministered to the spiritual needs of people but their physical needs whether they be healing or finances. Now, let’s dive into another vital function of this Ministry.
Jeremiah 1:4-12 (KJV)
4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.
7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.
8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.
9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.
Comment: From the point of the conception of our spirit man (spirit and soul) and physical body God has a wonderful plan of each and every person. As an aside, much can be said about the origin or our spirit man (spirit/soul). As I understand it there are three major thoughts in this area. One is that our spirit comes from God, another is that it comes from some undefined other source, and thirdly that our spirit/soul is conceived simultaneous with the physical body. The third view means that our soul/spirit is reflective of our parents just as is our physical body. Each person has natural attributes (spirit/soul/body) that God augments supernaturally as we yield to His plan for our lives.
Back to our main topic. The plan, the path, ordained of God is unique and each of us are uniquely endowed to accomplish all the will of God both spiritually and physically. Then each of us chose our path. I have chosen His path to the best of my understanding and to speak His inspired, Anointed, Words. The Lord sends me to come along side His Anointed leaders and speak into their lives and to speak to the Church at large. Many will not receive the Word of God; they do not have ears to hear. Their choice.
10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
Comment: In this verse the Lord said to Jeremiah and to me that we would come to know secrets, mysteries, and speak (deposit) seeds into the nations and kingdoms. The nations are those sovereign states over the earth like the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and so on. The kingdoms are those of light and darkness. The same words that pull down one build the other. This is the double-edged sword spoken of in Scripture.
11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.
Comment: These verses are instructing the Prophet Jeremiah in His time, me in my time to be alert, to be on the lookout (whether for good or ill), and to watch (for) according to Strong’s Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary. As you go to the next few you find the Lord telling Jeremiah about a coming event.
Of course there is much, much more that could be said about this Jeremiah passage, but this particular teaching was to discuss it as it relates to my call, this Ministry. I hope this has been enlightening as I have attempted to delineate at least a part, the prominent parts, of this Ministry. Before leaving, I invite those prompted, called, of the Lord to be financial partners with this Ministry to do so today.
Lord willing, I will pick up next Sunday with more insights, enlightenment, light, revelation from Heaven for those with ears to hear. The Lord is good, He is not the source of our problems, and He cannot lie!
