OUT OF OUR CONTROL

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and those who have not yet chosen to be translated from darkness to light (Colossians 1:13). If you have not yet chosen Jesus as your Lord, your King, your Savior, and entered the Kingdom of God leaving behind the kingdom of darkness, do so today.
Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is my intention for this to be a short teaching but illuminating teaching establishing a Biblical prospective concerning who controls what.
Now, back to our teaching. I have heard it said that there are things outside of our control and when we realize this, we must trust God. Sounds right? I know we have all been there. There are indeed things outside of our control. If so, then who is in control? There are those who ascribe to the nonbiblical idea that God is in control of everything. They believe and teach that God is somehow involved in everything that is going on in the earth in everyone’s lives. This includes the good, the bad, and the ugly. How often have you heard it said in a tragedy, perhaps a child died, that we just don’t understand these things, but God must have needed another angel. This is not Bible, is supposed to bring comfort, but is rooted in men’s traditions, doctrines of demons, and darkness (ignorance). It is perverse, demonic.
Let’s start with what God controls in addition to what we authorize Him to control or manifest concerning our lives.
Hebrews 1:3 (KJV)
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
I want us to focus in on the phrase “upholding all things by the word of his power”. Jesus, God, is upholding all of the laws of creation but spiritual and physical. On the physical side He is keeping things from imploding, deteriorating according to the laws of thermodynamics. He maintains all physical laws. On the spiritual side He maintains those as well so that they work the same for everyone like gravity on the physical side. Let’s take the following Scripture as an example.
Isaiah 1:19-20 (KJV)
19 If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
The Word of God is a double-edged sword. Notice that being willing and obedient to the will of God, Word of God, brings the good things into our lives. On the other hand, disobedience brings the stealing, killing, and destroying of the devils, the curse into our lives. This is the same, exactly the same for all peoples. This could be a huge teaching but let me make a blanket statement before I present two Scriptures the Lord gave me in this area. As it concerns us, we are in control of everything, more precising, we have authority overall, and the Lord applies His Power to the situation. We have all authority as it concerns us, and He has all Power. The reason we don’t seem to have control can be ignorance which is present by a lack of teaching and study of the Word. We do not and cannot control other people or circumstances, but we have complete control over our reaction. Furthermore, in our communion with God we will be warned of adverse situations and people to avoid. Consider the following.
Genesis 1:26 (KJV)
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Now in the Amplified Bible.
Genesis 1:26 (AMP)
26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.
Is it clear that we have dominion, authority over all the earth and over everything with the exception of other people. This Genesis passage goes on to say that He then empowered us to be fruitful, to multiply, to replenish the earth, and to subdue it.
Genesis 1:28 (KJV)
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Our physical bodies are of the earth, and we have complete control of any and all manifestations in our bodies. Good and bad manifestations are rooted in the spirit realm. What are you saying or not saying? Now, one more Scripture.
James 3:2 (KJV)
2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
Dear ones, if we will choose to be mature, thinking, speaking, and acting upon the Word of God we have complete control over what happens to us spiritually and physically.
Lord willing, I will pick up next Saturday with more insights, enlightenment, light, revelation from Heaven for those with ears to hear. The Lord is good, He is not the source of our problems, and He cannot lie!
