TRADITIONS, LIES, and TRUTH – PART TWENTY
PSALM 91 – PART FIVE
Saturday – June 1, 2019, Iyar 27, 5779
Greetings my dear partners and friends, the most diligent students (disciples) and those who most ardently cleave to the Lord. Dear brother and sister it is going to begin to rain, there is much to do, correction, and alignment is the order of the day. Let us determine to have willing ears and obedience without delay dear ones. If you are reading this on Facebook please take a moment and hit the “like” and “share” keys to expand the reach of this insightful (given of God) and powerful teachings. This particular weekly study on Saturday’s is focused on separating the traditions of men, and the doctrines of demons from the Truth of God. Until we do this in our own lives, in the local Church, and in the Church at large we will suffer defeat after defeat and walk in perpetual shame at each level. At the present I have been talking about prayer and decreeing. Each one is indispensable to victory. Prayer is where we find the will of God and decreeing is the action required to bring the will of God into the earth.
Dear ones our proper stance is not one of waiting on God, God is at the edge of His throne waiting on us to pick up the Mantle and do His will. We speak and He will do it! Now, back to the 91st Psalm.
Psalm 91:9-13 (KJV)
9 Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
God as our refuge and habitation is always available as is overflowing prosperity (yes, money) and health. However, we are responsible to exercise our God given authority to make it a reality. Our alignment with Him, our decree (expression of authority), and His Power changes everything. As we look at verse ten of our text, how much evil can befall us with God as our refuge and habitation? Zero! None! Is any evil befalling me or you? If so, what might we conclude? We have not taken refuge nor our place of habitation in the Lord. We must take it, it does just fall on us or happen because we are exuberant in Church, sing loud, declare we love the Lord, or cry in the prayer closet. I don’t know about you but I am going to do the Scripture and watch the Lord keep the evil from my life and the various plagues from my dwelling. My dwelling is this body I run around in and it is pure before the Lord bathed in the Word of the Living God.
Wow, look at verse eleven (eleven is the number of alignments with God)! When we take refuge in our God, when we choose to make our habitation in our Lord, He gives His angels charge or the responsibility to keep us safe. These angels will hedge us about and protect us. What is the other side of the coin? What if we don’t take refuge in the Lord, what if we do not make Him our habitation? We are on our own, simple as that! How do you think that is going to work out? There is no where in the Scripture where we are relegated to a life of misery with the idea that in some mysterious way (demonic lie) that brings glory to God. We must always remember the following Scriptures as well as the Truth that if we are waving in the breeze of poverty and ill health, we have failed to make the Covenant promises ours. It is never a failure by God to provide and it is never a “no”, “maybe”, or “delay” when we speak by faith in love led of the Holy Spirit the will (Covenant) of God.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)
20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
We have a good, good Father, not a tormentor. These angels our Heavenly Father releases into our lives as a result of us doing our part will keep us protected and even help us not to be bogged down in the cares of life (foot against a stone). Because we make the Lord our refuge, our habitation we can and will trample all the devils that come against us under our feet.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
