WHICH WORLD ARE YOU OF?
Friday – March 15, 2019, Adar B 8, 5779
Greeting dear precious saints of the only Living God and welcome even if you are not a saint. You might be correctly thinking it would be a good thing to be a saint. The difference in outcome could not be starker between being a saint and not being a saint. A saint is anyone who has declared Jesus as Lord and Savior and by their own choice is on their way to Heaven. A non-saint or sinner is one who has not declared Jesus as Lord and Savior and is on their way to Hell by their own choice. Forget about what we see during this very transitory journey here in the earth and the outward behaviors we observe in our fellow travelers. Instead, let us love (1 Corinthians 13) the person (not the behaviors), be kind, gentle, disciplining our thoughts (Philippians 4:8) and being tender towards all encouraging them in the Lord. Now, let’s dive back into our Bible Study of the Book of John by first reading our primary Bible Text aloud.
John 8:18-24 (KJV)
18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
20 These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
21 Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
22 Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
I will pick up with verse eighteen which is where we left off yesterday and focus on its significance to us. In that regard, I reviewed Mark 16:19-20 which made clear that how Jesus conducted His ministry is exactly how we are to conduct ours. So, if our individual ministries are not working like that of Jesus, we have dropped the ball somewhere along the way. If you have the key to the car and you keep sticking it into the door lock expecting the car to start you will have a lengthy wait. The laws of God work exactly the same way all the time without exception. It does not matter if it is God, Jesus in the earth, or you and I today. Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades as they say. Jesus keeps referring to His Father and the Jews (ruling religious class) ask Him where is His Father, I suppose expecting a natural father. There folks are not within a row of outhouses of understanding what Jesus is saying, one is talking carnal the other spiritual. These religious rulers are in deep spiritual darkness and suppose themselves enlightened. This is rampant all about us today in the Church.
Jesus really knows how to stir the pot. Whenever I have taught the unvarnished Truth, I have been told to tone it down and speak in love. Is there a greater love than telling another person the Truth? These same people of course would not accuse Jesus of not teaching in love. Jesus was not and is not pc (politically correct). Neither can we afford to be pc, people are having their brains knocked out by the devils, lives trashed, and going to Hell and we are playing Church. Some of you may be thinking, “oh, docs on a rant today”. Well, yes and no, as I am at the verge of tears pleading for all of us too step to the plate and do the works prepared for us from the foundation of the world. Jesus then tells them you don’t have a clue who I am because you don’t know the Father, my Father. If you had known the Father you would know me right away. Now, think for a moment, these are the religious leaders of Israel and they are not recognizing the real deal. Sadly, the same is occurring today in the Church. Just as these leaders said Jesus was of the devil so do leaders and others in the Church today call Anointed persons of the devil, false teachers and prophets, in effect saying they are of the antichrist. Dear ones we are in the last days. The same thing can be said of some leaders today, “you don’t recognize me because you don’t really know my Father”.
They still want to lay hands on Jesus but they cannot for it is not yet His hour meaning the time for Him to lay His life down going to the Cross. The very same should be true of us today, sadly it is not taught, and a false martyr’s theology is propagated. That is not to say Christians are not being killed in great numbers, it is to say that it is not the will of God, and protection, absolute protection, is available by faith, in love, led of the Holy Spirit.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
