AWAKE, ARISE, AND TRIUMPH

THE GREATER THINGS – PART FORTY
Greetings dear and precious saints of God and pre-saints of God as another month comes to a close. Welcome back to this enlightening study of what we the Church are commanded, empowered, and ordained by God to accomplish in the earth before the return of Christ. We are empowered with both authority and Power (the Blessing). Are we walking in this authority and Power or just talking about it? Are we asking Jesus to do what only we can do which is exercise the authority He gave us in faith, powered by love, and as led of the Holy Spirit? We must quit asking the Lord to do what is our responsibility to do and only we can do. As we move forward, please take a minute to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry, and the reach of the Truth, to believers and unbelievers alike. Now, once again let’s carefully read our primary text.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
For many weeks I have been dealing with this topic of doing not only the works Jesus did, but the greater works as He commanded. I have been establishing a firm foundation for what the greater works looks like. The children of God, the sons of God are to be running the show in the earth since the Cross! Why do we act like we are worms in the dirt just hanging on until we can go to Heaven? We are Blood Covenant children of God in Christ Jesus with supernatural activating authority, rightful ownership of everything, and access to far superior Power residing in and with us. It’s about time dear ones for the Church to “Awake, Arise, and Triumph”! Today I am going to turn our attention back to the Book of Isaiah.
Isaiah 61:4-6 (KJV)
4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.
One might exclaim, “only God can do this, let’s pray!”. No, only we can do this, with God working through us. These things like building “the old wastes” will not occur just by us hunkering down in our prayer closets. Do not get me wrong, prayer is essential. The primary outcome of our prayer is to discover what actions including decrees we are responsible for to accomplish these missions. As we gaze upon and meditate upon verse 4 we see that none of those things are good, the work of the thief. These places are the result of devils, the ravages of the curse, brought about by rampant sin. People want to go their own way, be their own god, serve idols and the result is destruction and decay. Wherever there is no worship there is drought of every sort, physical, and especially spiritual. Please don’t think of drought as only a lack of physical water but lack spiritual then physical in general.
Zechariah 14:17 (KJV)
17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
Where there is no worship of the Lord, our God, no submission to the leadership of the Spirit and the Truth, there will be lack of every kind. Remember the stark difference between the thief and Jesus.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
If there is any verse to have firmly embedded, engrafted, in our mind it is this one, for it draws a clear line between what is God and what is not. As we turn our attention back to verse five of our Isaiah text, we find a reflection of the reality of the massive wealth transfer. This is at the door dear ones. Do we believe this, do we believe the Word of God? God says the heathen will work for the Covenant people of God. For the most part the people of God remain in bondage to the ways of the world. Remember what happened when God brought the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Psalm 105:37 (KJV)
37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
