FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK SEVENTEEN
DO WE LOVE JESUS – THE WORD? – PART THREE

Greetings dear and precious saints of the only Living God and welcome back to the Prophets Chamber. As you read this aloud and take the time to study, meditate, and reflect upon this teaching also take a moment and share this teaching. On a personal note, those of you who follow on Facebook know that Donna and I (and our kitties) are moving to Texas and will be there is just over two weeks. Our home is sold and we are going through our stuff to do the purging we should have been doing right along.
As you will recall for the last two Saturdays, I shared how I have become acutely and painfully aware in recent days of the failure of many in the Church, body of Christ, to be transformed by the Word of God. I even shared in the May 15th publication a portion of a Prophecy I received on a recent trip to Texas. The failure to be transformed by the Word of God is a fundamental cancer in the body of Christ. Yes, these are on their way to Heaven but in really rough shape. They are not walking in their God given authority and are not allowing the flow of God’s Power (the Blessing) in their life. It is a heart issue my friends. Let us not draw near with our lips while being far from Him in our hearts (Isaiah 29:13, Matthew 15:7-9). The contents of our hearts determine the course of our lives (Proverbs 4:23, Luke 6:45-49). Let us not just look good and talk a good game but get in the game and run the full course of the wonderful life God has planned for us. He planned for everyone of us to accomplish much for the Kingdom of God according to our God given talents and gifts. He intended for us to have Heaven upon the earth. Does that describe my life or yours?
Let’s move forward in this study with the question, “where is my focus?” What we treasure, value the most, is our real gods, and is where we will put our attention, time, and money. Who do we love, is it agape (love) or something else (lesser affection)? If the choice is between a carnal endeavor or a spiritual endeavor which comes first, which wins? Is our real god of this world or is the only Living God of Heaven and eternity our god? Let’s carefully examine the following passage.
Romans 8:5-8 (KJV)
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
This is talking about where we are focused. Are we focused on the carnal aspects of life or the spiritual? This is not to say we don’t have a carnal or natural side of life; we certainly do. The question is this; where is our focus our predominant thoughts. To be focused on the carnal is to knowingly or unknowingly make ourselves at odds or an enemy of God, our Heavenly Father. Verse eight above is very sobering if we give it just a little thought. Put the following light upon it.
Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
When we are focused on the flesh (carnal) we are not in faith and cannot please God. We all know that focus is important. People we are focused on studies do better in School, those who are focused on their place of employment achieve much faster and so on. No different in the Kingdom of God! Where do you think the devil got the idea from? A carnal focus brings death of all sorts into our life and a spiritual (focus on God) focus brings life (zoe- life as God knows life) and peace. Let us focus on our Heavenly Father, the Lord Jesus (the Word), and the Holy Spirit!
Isaiah 43:18-19 (KJV)
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Philippians 3:13 (KJV)
13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
The word ‘forgetting’ here does not mean to be wiped from memory but to not focus on, quit looking back or focusing back. Focus ahead and the good things of God just ahead and in our grasp, in our thoughts and our mouths. We give Him our mouth, our authority, and He will make a way in the wilderness and a river where it was very parched before. Our God is just so good, let’s decide to adopt His thoughts, His words, and do things His way and have a life that just pops goodness and thrusts the Kingdom of God ahead. Let’s make an open show of the devils just like our Lord.
Lord willing, I will have another fresh Word from the Throne next week.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
