WASH YOU – MAKE YOU CLEAN

Greetings precious children of the Father and welcome back to The Three Minute Word blog currently exploring the Bible Book of Isaiah. What a wonderful, instructive Book for us all. It is a mirror of our time, an instrument to examine ourselves with. The featured picture today was graciously provided by our good friend and man of God, Joe Getchell Jr. Please take a moment to share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach of the Truth. Our God is so good! We are not in a guessing game with the Lord as to what is His will and what is not. We don’t always like His will at first brush when it goes against our traditions, the doctrines of devils we have accepted, or our flesh (carnal nature). When we find a difference between what we think and what God thinks (Word of God), the smartest thing is for us to do is quickly align ourselves with the Word, the Truth of God, casting aside all else, for all else is wickedness.
Dear ones we, all of us, must develop an absolute aversion (loathing, abhorrence, repugnance) to what is not of God. We are much to comfortable with mixing the knowledge of good and evil. Then we wonder where the victory is in our lives. The second person of the Triune Co-equal God, named Jesus on the eighth day after his birth as a human being, did not come from Heaven to give us a second-rate redemption. The Word (Jesus) temporarily put aside the attributes of God to redeem us from sin, the curse, and to restore us to His original intent. We are family and as such partakers in the fulness of the Kingdom of God. When Scriptures says we “suffer” that is not talking about sickness, disease, and poverty, it means to put up with this natural life for a season. Jesus purchased the victory for us for now and forever. We are not to win a few and lose a few, we are designed to win and win big every time. Is Jesus our prime example? Did He say we were to do the works He did and greater works? Did Jesus have any sickness or poverty or endure stoning’s or beatings before He surrendered to the Cross? Now, let’s turn our attention to our primary Bible text and continue reading aloud, yes, out loud. Faith comes by hearing not seeing.
Isaiah 1:15-18 (KJV)
15 And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.
18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
The Lord is addressing those who say they are His people, those He calls His own, yet are in great sin. As I have brought up many times, most of the Bible is written to Christians (God’s people whether it be Old or New Testament). The Bible of course addresses the heathen but for the most part is addressed to God’s own people, those of His house, those of His Kingdom. There are two kingdoms and two only in the earth. One kingdom is that of our Lord and the other is of the god of this world, Satan. Since the Cross and Resurrection, the kingdom of darkness occupies the earth illegally. God describes for the people through the Prophet Isaiah the abhorrent condition of His people. I doubt that they saw themselves this way. The devil is good at deception and so is our own flesh. Do we today recognize our true condition in the eyes of the Lord? Can any or all of what we have read so far apply to us? Last week we ended talking about the blood on their hands and the vast amount of blood on our hands. We like to point to those who had abortions as being to blame and bearing the primary responsibility. When and how did abortion become acceptable even celebrated? When we, the Anointed body of Christ, backed away from our dominion and blessing responsibilities. Who are the rulers in the earth, in America? We the Church are the rulers, period. So, who has primary responsibility for the abortion carnage and all of the other abominations present in our land? We the Church, Gods’ own people. Can you imagine what a stench this is in the nostrils of God?
Although God is once again frustrated, angry with, fed up with His people, His family He again brings a solution. The solution is to know and do the Word of God. They and we are to wash ourselves with the Word of God (Ephesians 5:26-27), and in our case the Blood of the Lamb, and we will be clean. Coupled with that is the putting away of our evil ways. We must have a revelation of the Word, and couple that with a heartfelt repentance which is a complete turning away from the lies. Consider the following passage as I end for today.
2 Timothy 2:25-26 (KJV)
25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
Lord willing, I will pick up right here tomorrow.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
