FROM THE PROPHETS CHAMBER – WEEK TWENTY-SIX
WHAT ABOUT ZERUBBABAL? (PART FOUR)

Greetings dear and precious saints of God and welcome back to our Saturday publication From the Prophets Chamber. Concerning our move to San Antonio, Texas, everything has gone very well and we are excited about this new and fresh chapter in our lives. God has wonderful plans for us just as He does for each one of you as we put Him, the Kingdom, and His Word first (Matthew 6:33). First means first even when the flesh says otherwise. Are we doing this or just talking about it? Now, please take a moment and share this teaching as widely as possible to expand the reach of this Ministry with the Truth. God is so good and nothing but good dear ones. If what is in your life is not good, it is not God, pure and simple. God is not in the business of putting bad things in any part of our lives. There is one person and one person alone that is responsible for the bad or good things that gain entry into our lives and that is we ourselves. We open or close the door of our lives to God and the devil. What have we been choosing? This is not hard; we only have to look at the fruit of our lives (Matthew 7:16-20).
Now, let’s turn our attention to Zerubbabel. Our title for this teaching asks “What about Zerubbabel”, however, we might want to ask where are the Zerubbabel’s today. The temple of God, the house of God, is in a shambles, who is rebuilding this temple? We are divided into a multitude of denominations and there are schisms within local bodies. Is this division and confusion of the Lord or the devil? Hope you got this right it is of the devil pure and simple. Our God is not the author of division or confusion. Now, let’s take a look at our primary Bible text.
Zechariah 4:7 (KJV)
7 Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
There were many obstacles to the rebuilding of the Temple but Zerubbabel shouted Grace (Favor) to those obstacles (mountains) and they disappeared. Primary among them was money, resources, as we see in the full text from Haggai 2:6-9. Are we shouting to our mountains in faith? The Temple in disrepair of that day represents the Church in disrepair in our day. Where is faith, love (agape), and the leadership of the Holy Spirit. Where are the people doing the works Jesus did and the greater works? Our Zechariah text reminds us of Mark 11:23-26.
Mark 11:23-26 (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
Are we doing this or just talking about it? Seems that most of what we are doing is talk since the mountains remain. Seems like a major hindrance to moving the mountain is harboring unforgiveness. Should we examine ourselves and be cleansed? The Lord will back us up when we stand in faith declaring the will of God. He can’t, He won’t, do diddly squat until we declare the thing. God gave us authority and He sits quiet until we exercise that authority. Notice from the preceding passage we must speak, not doubt in our heart, believe what say will come to pass, and not be harboring any unforgiveness. We have seen the importance of this linkage of the performance of our prayers and having unforgiveness (Matthew 6:9-15 – Lords’ Prayer). Another component of moving the Hand of God is to have a heart that is completely His (Matthew 6:33).
2 Chronicles 16:9 (KJV)
9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
Is there war in our lives, the Church, or is God showing Himself strong. The doing foolishly in the preceding text refers to our thought lives and our words. Not thinking the thoughts and speaking the Words of God, but of another.
Each week I think this will be the last week on Zerubbabel, but not so. See you next Saturday with more fresh manner from the Throne of God on this topic.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Until our next publication, as your Bible Teacher and a Prophetic Voice in your life I speak this blessing over each and every one of you, receive it, believe it, and speak over yourself and your family by faith in Jesus’ name!
Numbers 6:24-26 (AMP)
24 The Lord bless you and watch, guard, and keep you;
25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
