A WELL OF TRUTH
DO WE BELIEVE JOHN 14:12? – PART FIVE
Greetings precious saints of the Almighty God, Partners, and friends of this Ministry and The Three Minute Word blog. Welcome back to this Sunday series titled “A Well of Truth” currently focused on John 14:12. Please take a moment and share these teachings as widely as possible to expand our reach with the Truth. Thank you for sharing. I am continuing with the teaching; “Do We Believe John 14:12?” now on Part Five. I hope that many of you know this verse without having to look it up. It is a verse I have taught on and around for years. This command is not in evidence in the Church for the most part either corporately or individually. This must change for me, for you, and for the Church (at least the rising remnant). When a command of the Master, a command of Scripture, is not being followed we must repent, and ask why we are not in compliance. The simple answers are that we don’t believe, are ignorant, or have other gods. Let’s review our focus verse.
John 14:12 (KJV)
12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
If we are waiting for God to move, we are in for an eternal wait. He never said He was going about the earth doing things. He commanded us to go about the earth doing the works He did and greater works. Jesus Himself tells us multiple times to be like Him, do as He did, and to do the greater things. Dear ones for the most part this is not being preached even though it is gospel, it is Bible, much of it is even in red. We will cover it in more detail as time goes by but to be obedient to this command, we must do it as Jesus did it. Jesus only said what the Father said, only did what He saw the Father doing, and the Father did the works. The Father (Holy Spirit) did the works through Him not independent of Him. Jesus had to go; Jesus had to be full of faith although it was not His faith that healed it was the faith of the person healed. Jesus had to be attentive to the voice of the Father and speak only what He said and only do what He saw Him doing. We will have to do the same. We will have to move, speak, in faith, powered of love (agape), without doubt, and led of the Holy Spirit.
Two weeks ago, we reviewed Luke 6:40 which told us that we can be just like Jesus. Jesus said so! Is Jesus a liar? Last Sunday we looked at the following verse telling us the same thing.
Matthew 10:24-25 (KJV)
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
We have three witnesses to the Truth that we can be just like Jesus (John 14:12, Luke 6:40, and now Matthew 10:24-25). Do we believe any of this or do we just fly by in disobedience, which is sin, then wonder why we walk knee deep in the curse? Let’s take a look at yet another Scripture.
John 15:20 (KJV)
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
Even though we are to do greater works we are not greater than our Lord, Jesus Christ. As I have taught many times much of what is spoken of as the greater works can be found in Isaiah 61:2 the b portion through the rest of the chapter (other places as well) and includes taking back the seven pillars of society. Jesus didn’t do these things because it would not have been legal. He had to deal with the sin issue, reclaim our authority, and the Blessing for all of mankind. We are now in the place of Adam but with a safety net, the Lord Jesus as advocate, intercessor, we have the Holy Spirit, we have forgiveness (blotting out), and the eternal Blood/sacrifice. All authority is restored and the Blessing restored to all who serve Him. There is no power that can stand before us as we walk after the Spirit and not after the flesh, in faith, powered of love, without doubt, and led of the Holy Spirit. Are we responding to the Holy Spirit or our traditions and doctrines of demons?
Lord willing, I will pick up right here next Sunday. In the meantime, let us all push forward to be just like Jesus doing as He commanded the works He did and the greater works.
2 Chronicles 20:20 b (KJV)
20 … Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

26 The Lord lift up His [approving] countenance upon you and give you peace (tranquility of heart and life continually).
